I am running yum update and it freezes after a 2 lines of output:

Loaded plugins: fastestmirror
Loading mirror speeds from cached hostfile 

btw i have ping from terminal, but can`t connect to internet from browser. . .. .

i solved it, here is how :
use vi or nano and go to " /etc/yum/pluginconf.d/fastestmirror.conf" and set "enable=0"

But still can't connect to internet from browser . . . .

in Windows/system32/Drivers/etc/ open file hosts with notepad and add this

thanks for this but i fix my error with XtrapFix2013..but i have another problem :)..when i am on the log on screen cabal and i input my ID and password and when i press enter or click ok..the loading bar finishes but it says failed to connect to server..can you help me with this?
