Why would anyone want to configure the IP settings if you can easily put simply to the NAT which will automatically select the VMNet8 and in the CentOS you would simply need to select the Automatically Detect IP not edit it so that it would fit the VMNet8, cause it will automatically do it and after that you need to just activate the new Eth0 and wolla you're connected to the internet.

Re: Creat CentOs net Connect !

You have to type the IP which you see when you type in the CentOS Terminal: ifconfig

    :P

EDITED: ramispo! you have not checked the "Automatically obtain DNS information from server"

You both have you checked the "Automatically obtain DNS information from server"? I think not! When its done, just simply click Deactivate and then Activate!

i used the statiscally set IP, save it and reboot, but after reboot, it turns back to automatically obtain IP... is the warning below has a connection with my problem? that " VMware tools not installed in this guest"?

Well, maybe you should have to deactivate it and activate after you have set the IP. You dont need to reboot the CentOS, just try to enter in the google with the Firefox in CentOS. :P

You have to be logged in as root if you want to successfully run the server, lol!
