    There's a reason why everyone uses the binaries from update folder instead of the ones that have a more recent modification date?

    Re: Tutorials for EP8 Server Files (DETAILED)

    I give up, I tried with:

    1 - SQL in VBox and CentOS on PC
    2 - SQL in PC and CentOS in vbox
    3 - SQL in PC and CentOS on PC

    ALL of them gave me the same error, login, does not pass the login screen by any means.
    * If I put the wrong password it gives error (so there is connection error with DB)
    * If I put the right password as if it gives success but back to the login screen (the log it appears as successful login)

    I've tried with 3 clients (Machine, SIMP and TG)

    Note: Server STARTED 100%

    I can't blame you but don't give up, everything has a solution, we all started with errors, I already answered how to fix your problem on your other post, and as I said, try to use the bins found in /home/update from the original server files released.

    Yes, there are 2 ISOs.
    CD1 and CD2,

    CentOS-5.8-i386-bin-DVD-1of2.iso
    CentOS-5.8-i386-bin-DVD-2of2.iso

    .iso = file extension
    .exe = file extension

    It helps you recognize files better if you enable file extensions view in windows.
