Since everyone looking for working FTP here is my Guide. If not working have a PM to me.
step:
1.Open Port 21/22 for normal ftp port.
2.Download FTP server at here

3.Now SETUP the FTP server

after you doe it its will Pop up to ask make an account for it just create your own account example : account: user1 pass: user2

Now you have to open port 21 for your FTP

Use any Hex edit or you can find it

what are the "ERROR" pop up on your PatcherKf.exe come out?, if its says
"The following (......) is not validated"

means you have to recheck your md5 make sure its a correct md5 or use my guide and create the md5

The PatcherKf fails to connect to the download server. Follow the step that indicates your guide. Install the ftp wing and I also tried HSF server but nothing achieved. I re pack .cpk files you want to modify and create a new md5 file, update this md5 in check version.
Your guide is very good, that admittedly. Perhaps I am missing knowledge on ftp or edit something in the PatcherKf. Images configuring ftp are very small, I cannot distinguish. I see a password as this [email protected] in the PatcherKf. If the connection is anonymous shouldn't have that password by what deleted it from the PatcherKf with the editor, but neither thus achieves connect.
Just grateful for your contribution and follow-up to the post. I hope you can continue to help us.

OK proves use which suggests to me. If not could you update I shall find how to create an executable patch to distribute my friends and so be able to update.

Hi,

Only the Wings ftp server (commerical) will work with PatcherKf or the 6.4 ServU link supplied above. The latest 8.x ServU does not work, nor does any other freeware or opensource ftp servers. I've tested over 20 ftp servers with patcherkf and only had success with 2. Issues seems to be with patcherkf.

It will do 2 connections (verified via packet sniffer):
1) Check the ftp server for the patch file name to see if it exists (gotten from checkversion).

2) It will then disconnection (stupid coding) and then re-connect and try to send "RESET 0" command which causes the issues. With filezilla and other ftp servers, they will send back an ack, but patcherkf will do nothing. With the ServU 6.4.x (from above), it will acutally send "500 unknown/command not supported) and patcherkf will happily go on to download the file. Again, the issue is with the way patcherkf is coded/checks, not the ftp servers. Hope that helps all.

On a side note: try changing your PC where you host the ftp server. I've got an issue where no ftp server works on one of my laptops with patcherkf, but my desktop and another laptop (same version/patches) works fine. Note: you can have the ftp server on a different host, it's done via the version.ini under checkversion. Only the entry for dianxin is used, wangxxx is never ever ever used at all. So only fix your dianxin entry.
