iv made a client side patch to fix not being able to buy at shops, including pots crashing during purchase also. youll need rfdevtrans, theres a few floating around with added translations. any should work as long as the filesize is 5,918,846. providing a patcher rather then the modified exe so im not redistributing any copyrighted material. just put it in your rf folder with your rfdevtrans, make sure your rfdevtrans is named "rf_dev_trans.exe" and run the patcher.
pots n shops now work, its not exactly correcting the original problem, but it works just fine. the original problem appears to be with the server loading prices for the shops, havnt looked into it much, except to make it functional. this removes the client side check, which there is still a server side check, so you cannot purchase what you do not have the money for, and server deducts the correct cost of the item from your currency. its the same issue with purchasing pots, calling idiv on 0 , because the price is not loaded, causing the client to crash. for now this will work fine, maybe later resolve the real issue at hand.

dont purchase from the bellato starter town, the item ids in the shop dont match the clients, thats why the items you are purchasing arent what you are really getting. theres a large green teleporter to the other side of the map for bellato, buy from there and should have no problems, dunno about other races. or use ctrl-f3, its 3rd button down if your bellato will take you to the other town. everything there seems to be alright.
I was playing on aziatic global of RF and it was great (can be greater if someone can fix bugs and translate it to english). Do you know if somewhere is english patch?
