Info::~ As Usual, if the ID Numbers already exist, change it to the next possible :)

And as Usual, End words!!

I have done some changes to pumbaaa's Quick change job..

change 1:
There is no "Change" Button anymore, now when you click on the picture, the character will change to that job!

change 2:
Fixed the text on the window, now it does not say "IDS_****" when mouse is hovering over a button / text

Change 3:
I have made a window for the NEW resdata and OLD resdata

Change 4:
I have made quick job change up to Hero and one up to 3rd Job

Change 5: The code is now inside an ID "__QUICKJOBCHANGE",
so if you feel like removing it, then removing the ID from both versioncommon.h is enough :)

Change 6: I am too damn awesome so I just needed to say that.

Info 1: I dont have 3rd job in my server, so if anyone has 3rd job, could you please comment on how it worked for you? Would greatly appriciate it.

I hope you like it, and there should not be any problems whatsoever, tried to change my job more then 64 times already haha..

If you would need any kind of help, just write your error log you get in a Spoiler and I and many others will try to help you as much as possible ^^

SlideShow For Pictures ---->>

3rd job change does not work for you?
Here's the fix for that! ~ http://forum.ragezone.com/f457/source-quickchange-3rd-job-level-818682/#post6827132

Sincerely~ Xakzi

EDIT: IF YOU GET THE ERROR GETDLGITEM : nID=933 NOT FOUND, GO TO WNDCHANGEJOBEX.CPP AND DELETE THIS LINE
Code:
	CWndButton* nApply = (CWndButton*)GetDlgItem( WIDC_BUTTON1 );

Got it working now. 3rd job aswell. Thanks to everyone reaching out to me with a helping hand!

I guess Ketchup and you n0tso1ee7 are right about that.
Fails like that shouldnt happen again as i started to use Github now.

BUT: After i change to 3rd job the icon next to my characters name still is an H for Hero. Do i have to implement the change to an L for Legend or did i mess something up? Thanks!

My source: http://forum.ragezone.com/f457/vs19-v18-files-retail-content-1174203/

EDIT:
Im not sure as i stopped playing flyff for a long time. But it seems on official server the hero rank is the last one and the legend rank i saw somewhere was custom made. Can someone confirm that?

Retail doesn't have a legend icon it uses hero afaik.

I hope this isint considered Necroing.
Following the guide step by step, using Ketchup's vs19 v18 source I was able to correct all errors but one.

Inside WndChangeJobEx.cpp there already is #include ResData.h so I'm not sure why it would spit this error out?

Thank you for any help provided!

1st EDIT: The way this was fixed is that, there are TWO ResData.h files. One in the source the other in resource. I have both edited and this solved the error!

===New Issue===

Compiles and runs with 0 errors in VS or any logs in my log file. However, upon leveling up nothing happens.
EDIT: It appears that I need to double check all of the files I have edited, maybe I'm too tired to see anything but it looks like I did change everything in the OP but with 0 results.

The solution to my issue, of everything compiling and running with no errors, is double checking and making sure I copy and pasted everything right. (Also no Debug errors) So what I am asking for is help to verify that I did just that. To me it looks like everything is in the right place, so I need a fresh set of eyes to help me out. Thank you in advance!

WndChangeJobEx.cpp - I just selected everything, deleted everything inside the file then replace with the new code for 3rd jobs.

You need someone to verify that you copy/pasted correctly?

Can't you just do that yourself?

Sorry for the delayed reply, have been away from the pc for a while.

I know it sounds silly, but I've been racking my brain over this for a few days and to me it looks like that I copy and pasted everything correctly. But, it does not function and no errors. I'm just attempting to see if anyone could spot if I missed something or point me in the next direction to try and fix.

I did debug the neuz, I did look thru this entire thread and several others. I had other errors I was able to work thru such as adding "CDPSrvr::" to the line in the DPSrvr.cpp file but with no errors to go off of it leaves me just kinda stumped. Perhaps fresh eyes can see something I'm not, thats all.

So upon hitting level 15 no crash occurs nor does the fast job change window?

When I have some free time I'll double check what I can.

Correct, no window pops up. Also no crash, no neuz error, no log error, no compile error. Thank you! :)

This might sound silly but you did add the WndChangeJobEx.cpp and WndChangeJobEx.h into the solution under _interface, correct?
I think something pulled an include for one of these files but i'm not 100% sure if it would still manage to give 0 error just being able to find said file but worth a quick check.
I can assume you update all of your data.res files along with the program files and neuz after an update that effects the client and woldserver?

as for the files I'm still a little busy if you want to drop me your discord via a PM I can see what I can do in a little bit.

I did!
I right clicked on _Interface in the all.sln and added the two files, which was also places in the _interface folder. I remember either in this thread or another that since the picture was not available someone said this was how you add it to the solution. (Is there another way to include it in there or verify that it was included?)

PM sent!

It's alright,

both codes are the same, but on "2nd Job Only~" I have simply commented out a few lines that only works if you have 3rd job in your game/code already,

You can see the comments /* */, for example;

Code:
[COLOR="#FF0000"]/*[/COLOR]		else if( nJob ==  JOB_LORDTEMPLER_HERO || nJob ==  JOB_STORMBLADE_HERO )
			nPoint += 120;
		else if( nJob ==  JOB_WINDLURKER_HERO || nJob ==  JOB_CRACKSHOOTER_HERO )
			nPoint += 150;
		else if( nJob ==  JOB_FLORIST_HERO )
			nPoint += 160;
		else if( nJob ==  JOB_FORCEMASTER_HERO || nJob ==  JOB_MENTALIST_HERO )
			nPoint += 180;
		else if( nJob ==  JOB_ELEMENTORLORD_HERO )
			nPoint += 390;[COLOR="#FF0000"]*/[/COLOR]

So if you are unsure if your source has 3rd job, use "2nd job only".
and if you find out that you have 3rd job later on, you can just remove the "/* */" comments (check the whole method because there are more than one part)

I have this problem, when I get level -15/60/120- my game crashes. Sorry my bad english

I found that when I use this code from DPClient.cpp the game closes when I select a character and if I remove it I can enter the world but the first problem happens again.

Code:
#ifdef __FASTJOBCHANGE
if
(
(g_pPlayer->GetLevel() == 15 && g_pPlayer->GetJob() == JOB_VAGRANT) ||
(g_pPlayer->GetLevel() == 60 && g_pPlayer->GetJob() >= JOB_MERCENARY && g_pPlayer->GetJob() <= JOB_MAGICIAN) ||
(g_pPlayer->GetLevel() == 120 && g_pPlayer->GetJob() >= JOB_KNIGHT && g_pPlayer->GetJob() <= JOB_ELEMENTOR && g_pPlayer->GetExpPercent() == 9999) ||
(g_pPlayer->GetLevel() == 120 && g_pPlayer->GetJob() >= JOB_KNIGHT_MASTER && g_pPlayer->GetJob() <= JOB_ELEMENTOR_MASTER && g_pPlayer->GetExpPercent() == 9999) ||
(g_pPlayer->GetLevel() == 130 && g_pPlayer->GetJob() >= JOB_KNIGHT_HERO && g_pPlayer->GetJob() <= JOB_ELEMENTOR_HERO)
)
{
SAFE_DELETE( g_WndMng.m_pJobChangeEx );
g_WndMng.m_pJobChangeEx = new CWndJobChangeEx;
g_WndMng.m_pJobChangeEx->Initialize();
}

Try using -> http://forum.ragezone.com/f457/__fastjobchange-1193423/ and compare it with something like .

I already checked all the files, all the comparisons are fine, I compile again, it doesn't send me any error or warning, and when I select a character and accept the game crashes.

On Mover.cpp i only used the same Tutorial code?

Make sure you have added to your resdata.inc and have copied the resdata.h to the server.

Use merge to make new res files from ResClient and copy them to your client.
