Atleast check the Stickies. Replace the Teleporter.txt in Zoneserver and battleserver and WL.ull in data folder of client.Quote:

Still got no fukin idea that why NPCSUMMON is not working. It worked for me for 2-3 times but after that it never worked.

I don't have much idea about how to solve that splitting of bosses into 5. But i think copyinh the Monster files from some epi 3 server might solve this problem as in epi 3 server this problem wasn't there.
And about dropping of uniqs and all, you will have to edit the drop list of bosses. Currently the drop list of all bosses is totally messed up.

Yeps, it does work , all you need to do is set the correct odbc entry which points to your charac0 table. I am improving it by adding some more functionality with descriptions and all, but I have to admit that I get a bit discouraged because the forum seems to get fewer and fewer participations. Which A3client.exe you are trying to hex?? If you are trying to hex exe of some epi 5 server then you won't find it because those exe are packed. Unpacked exe is given at very first page of this thread, try hexing that one.Quote:

i have been trying to create the a3 epi 5 server since 2 days but have been unsuccessful so far.
When i use the 15mb client provided by u, the game(client) crashes a few seconds after showing the initial pic of the archer.
When i use the client that came with a3 mania(epi 5) i can go upto the login screen...but it gives me a "failed to connect to login server" message.
today am facing a new prob....my antivirus is detecting malware "win32:sality" in all server exe files provided by u ..... :(
how to unpack a client.. manually also.. if you can.. can you please unpack any of the epi5's client?

some FAQs.....
i was able to create a 1000% working server (wan) with just 256megs of RAM... it was windows server 2000... but just server not the client...
i think zoneserver took 10minutes to come on screen... server was lag free with 512kbps broadband, letancy<5ms.. more than 30 players (including lan)
(server version - 2.05)
so i think RAM not a problem if have enough than 1gb and xp...
2nd thing... Vista is great THAN XP IMO( excluding 7 coz i havent tried it)

Hey, almost all errors now solved. Need help for solving the other language messages. I get some abnormal language messages when i try to shout.. I get No Setting when i try to upgrade a item.. "Cannot whisper the person" comes in other language too.. Please someone can throw me some light on it?
sorry for double post. But i suddenly face one more error. I created a Clan but after a server restart the clan got deleted and besides the character name comes [].. how to solve this error???
For the Clan I can't be sure, but it makes me think that clan info can't be stored. Have you created the right folders?

I don't think it has to do with the database, because I use the db backups you posted with the 219 files and it's working for me. So I suppose it has to do with the folders.

ramankamboj, dude the codes for shue eggs and 255 lvl shues dont seem to work properly. I get cheat activated message but instead of shue egg or super shue some white rectangle card gets added to my inventory. U got any idea to solve that ??

There are a few stuff i will need your guidance. Please help me on that:-
1. I will like to know about adding a clan in Thol and the Exclusive Garment. And also about the country shout.
2. I will like to know about the translation of some messages we get in game. Eg:- while shouting, upgrading an item(No Settion %(number))
3. I will also like to know about the codes for all the unique sets. The range you provided has almost all the sets. But some parts are not there. By the grace of God, there is atleast 1 full set per class to check the thing.
4. The thing is, I dont see other GOD bosses around in the maps of SkyGarden. I see duneru, and one other but I dont see the small HK looking GOD bosses. I will like to know how to make them visible too.
5. While killing duneru, I get woonz when i hit with a AoE (Area of Effect) skills, that means creeps are there but not visible. How to solve that too?

NPCSUMMON is working. The maps have some problem, copy the map files from some episode 3 server. Copy the map files of all those maps where NPCSUMMON can be used.

Dear Chriss i had done Port forwarding, hexed the client. After putting user name and password i succefully reach to the server selection screen, whn i click on the server name it says disconnected from the server or the screen lags alot

I had forwarded ports correclty but still it is same disconnected from the server or unable to connect to login server.
And in local lan some time after giving user name and password it says connecting and doesnt do any activity.

s he did, I changed em myself using TeamViewer and then I tried the same thing with my server but got exactly the same prob.
We are missing smthing about networking here,
May be cause your ports are not opened .....
chk the firewall.. & if possible let me use teamviewer i ll chk it..
Machine is on DMZ, which means everything is forwarded to that PC, and still same prob.
I didn't spend much time with this.

Use TTa3 Client not mania and replace "a3client.exe" with the one released.
If server & client are on the same machine then it will just work. If you want to play from another machine, then you have to hex the client.

I hve been trying to make the server since abt a week and everytime am getting stuck at connecting....
1st i thought its coz of de 512 mb RAM
den i made de sever on a 3GB RAM and 512 MB graphic card PC and stilll gettin se same problem, getting stuck at Connecting..
i waited for much time but nothin comes so i hve to exit the game...

First make sure it works from same pc. Install client in same PC as server and try from there with IP 127.0.0.1

you made some mistake. it worked for me , i made mistake with odbc but now ok
Guys, Im able to run loginserver, zoneserver, and zoneagent.
When i start mainserver then its window closes automatically after a second without any error.
kindly help
post screenies while server is running
