Wow, What a off topic thread. Anyway, As T6 Said. Its not a Crime.
It would clear up a lot of unnecessary bullshit going around.

Going against the privacy policy, for one, isn't committing a crime in most situations; also, your actual IP address/hostname was not given, if you noticed, the image was filtered to an extent.
Anyways, you're evading all of my points: no matter what you do, at the end of the day, tunneling through a VPN with no caching system for files is slower than using your own connection. Your point for using WizKid's machine is, again, invalid.
Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't WizKid running the VPN daemon off his local machine? Why would a workstation have Windows 2k3 running on it?
Irrelevant.Nobody is too old for Donald Duck. My grandmother is still reading it, she's somewhere in their 80's.
IP addresses are not public, they are held private for many, many reasons. Yes, every packet has the IP address in the header, but that doesn't make your IP public to everyone.
Putting an IP address public when it's covered by a privacy policy should result into a permanent ban of this forums. If there won't be a ban, it's considered a crime.
Not that he cares about it, it's just that it shouldn't happen.
No, it's far from slower if my own DNS servers are mostly overloaded or simply not working. They only work well at night times. In any other case, I'm waiting up to minutes to get the IP address (!).
He's running it in his network, not on his pc, misunderstanding. I have access to his PC because I can simply go to his internal IP after I connected his VPN.

Incorrect, a full IP address was never given, your the one that just kinda gave it away, saying you were on the same ip. I know plenty of people from even states away that have the first 2 sets of digits as me. Maybe some people do want their IP address hidden (run through proxies?) but that doesnt matter, nothing was ever done to challenge the TOS at all, i think that gWXO and System32 were very carefull getting around the privacy terms.
What Teh Hell? I'm waiting up to minutes to get the IP address (!). Lol'ed?
That pic proves what? That you know how to spell Andy? You proved that already by fudging this story in the first place D:

ANYWAYS back to what i was trying to do, i already have an infraction and dont want banned (cough Jacob cough) so i will just end this with, this is ridiculous lets just stop here.
Who cares, if your not Wiz, your just bad as him.
Thanks Bye TTYL
It's not about the full IP address at all, go read the topic, then you might understand what I meant.
Go make sense.
That pic prove it was about win 2k3, XP has a total different theme. Please get the fuck out of here, thanks a lot.
As bad as him? He's better than me, actually. And since I don't see you doing shit but bragging out of your neck, you must be really disappointed in yourself.
1) The theme proves nothing, as with a UXTheme patch (Be that done in memory or actually swapping out the library itself) themes can be changed to anything at will for most builds of Windows NT.
2) Now you're stating your ISP's DNS servers are always offline; it'd be faster if you just had Wizkid setup a DNS server for you to use off his connection, rather than a full-blown VPN. So, why are you still using his connection as a VPN?
1) Yeah, I noticed after. Didn't even know that shit was possible. I believe the VPN service works different though. (While win 2k3 server has a special administrative tool for it, in XP it shows just up in your network connections list).
2) Not always, at night they're working good enough. But I'm mostly in bed by then. It isn't such a bad idea to let him set-up a DNS. I'd lose my usenet provider and some shared folders though.
Just look over your own posts, you will see it pretty soon. I haven't seen you doing anything as programmer and yet you're saying you're better than someone that actually studied it (and is still studying).
1) While Windows 2k3 server edition does have a tool for providing such a service, similar third-party tools offer such a GUI as well.
2) You would gain a dramatic speed boost, and, you can still setup sharable folders without the use of a VPN, as well as setup a UseNet daemon server.
Regardless, any ISP that has DNS servers disabled during the day wouldn't receive any possible business, which is why I believe you're overdramatisicing how serious the case of downtime is (Or just out right lying).
1) Yeah well, I could make a screen shot of the properties of the win 2k3 machine, but I don't see an actual reason to do so.
2) They're not disabled, they are just fucking slow. It's not really a good business either, they're losing a lot of customers. However, since I live in a small place, I have no choice.
