Here is one of my older models I found when I recovered my laptop. It was originally 5K but I reduced it to 2K (I could probably make it less if I re-modeled the whole thing but.. that would be a pain in the ass.)

I work at a place and the HGM requested a super sized gun for him so I made him one.
That is why it is big, I am going to re-size it to a better size for normal players. ;)
I mentioned why it was much on vertices, it's one of my models from when I was pretty new to blender, if I re-did it all it would probably use a lot less. =O
