[Dev] Working on the ijji client

Wesman and I are working on the ijji client. We want to make it connect to a private server.

What we have discovered so far id:

    1. When you login to ijji, the ijji launcher uses HanAuthForClient.dll to transfer the information to the actual gunz launcher.
    2. Gunz launcher injects the account information to gunz.exe

Our idea is to code a launcher in which you would login, then it would inject the account information to gunz.exe just like ijjis launcher does.

Or we could still research the dll;, then code a web that would login and send the info's to a launcher.

the problem is, I am only a beginner in C coding, I only know enough ASM to follow a tut, and thats the same for wesman. We would need an experienced partner to help us out either by researching how the dll works or by helping mu out coding the launcher.

We might release it or not. Depends on how much work it will require.

ASM isnt needed for the DLL's. Try just "reading" the DLL file "logical". Maybe you'll understand what it does and what to edit. Tip: Loops suck, maybe they are in.

I have looked into the .dll file (HanAuthForClient.dll) and found some interesting stuff in it, but I have no clue what any of it means. lol.
Idk this was just a theory.

Project is usally .. MEF Emcryption is needed and no one know how to do MEF Emcrypt .. and the MEF Dump programmes is not sufficient .. So you will need to wait a few momment for the time that a hacker will release MEF (EMCRYPTER/DECRYPTER PROGRAMME). And probably that after first hack attempt ijji will change MEF emcryption key ..

Sorry kochon but i thinks that you dreaming for momment.
(Excuse my bad english it's not my first language)

Re: [Dev] Working on the ijji client

There is absolutely no need to un encrypt mef files. If you look closer, you CAN do that with MEF-Dump v6. And no MEF is required to d owhat i intend to do, i have no idea what your talking about. This is about injecting stuff to gunz.exe so it launches and connects to OUR server. And I'm not waiting for a "hacker" to do this, I want to do it on my own.

Re: [Dev] Working on the ijji client

    The BR client is:
    • Old and outdated
    • Translated and modified a LOT
    • Uncomplete
    • Do I really need to say more?

Re: [Dev] Working on the ijji client

It won't work. Making a launcher for ijji clients is easy. But making a client connect to a server version it wasn't intended for is likely way above your level, and any public leaks of MatchServer won't contain the additional protocol requirements of the newest clients.

    Sorry.

Re: [Dev] Working on the ijji client

I'm not. Haha. Some dude linked me to a thread asking me for some shit on MSN and I felt like snooping around a bit before I left.

And yeah, basically. Each client version is tied to a specific client version and vice versa. At least, as far as I can remember it is. I haven't touched Gunz in God knows how long.

Just learn some good programming skills and code an emu. Emulation is a lot more flexible, customizable, much more easily adapted to one's needs including different client versions. It wouldn't be too hard to make if you know what you're doing, and a lot of the info needed is already available. Hell, if people like Phail and I can do it, it isn't too hard ;P

Re: [Dev] Working on the ijji client

Well, I'm just learning C++. I'm gonna study it next year, but anyways. Codign an emu... I have a matchserver dump so I know how they organised the source code, but yeah. I could code maybe a matchserver with a lot of work, but you really want me to code a client???

Re: [Dev] Working on the ijji client

No. Code a server emulator. Coding a client emulator serves no purpose for you. And knowing how MAIET organized their source code isn't really important, it's all a matter of coder preference. You just need to implement the network protocol so it's compatible with a Gunz client. Dumping the protocol is pretty easy through Olly, it's all plaintext.
