Help and windows 7

After loads of cmpatibility issues and SQL server not starting up, ive finally got to the stage of starting up the game... Just wondering, does the game fail to launch for anyone else on 64bit Windows 7?

Ive tried putting it in compatibility mode but it just fails to even start.

also I got windows 7 x64 and works fine for me. Make sure to have the correct mssql 05 that is x64 bit. I posted a thread for it a while back just click my name and then look at my threads and use the download. As for the game failing to launch you could have edited a file wrong or kept a unpacked .mrs and iit wont allow it to launch. Look at your mlog.txt

Honestly, I don't know why people even attempt to host their own servers on their local machine, but if you must....

run a virtual machine on your computer. VMWare ect. And install a nice copy of Win2k3 Server. Far better off if you want to for some reason run a server off your home Internet connection which can easily be taken down just by 100 players flooding packets on gunz
