looks like you edited the lightmap, nothing more.
Are you also able to get a compiled map and decompile it to a GTK file(.map)?
And thats why its in the Gunz Diskussion Area.

But, the stuff im using is what everyone has.

Well, by analysing the bsp version gunz uses and some reverse engeniering it would be possible.
Theres also a other way but that way gives you distorted and oversized outputs.

Expect that its not realy a reskin because im not editing/replacing the Textures at all xD
Download that Town, Compile the Mrs.
Get it on your Debug or what ever.
Go to the Clock tower, see the "i was here lol" tag.
Now go into the options and disable lightmap, and the tag will be gone ;)
GG now we got some Gods here.
Good job on editing it i remember there was someone back in the days (2005/2006) who even made it so there were spawning things inside the lightmap wich he could pick up (like: HP,AP etc) that was awesome stuff this isn't that hard but still nice job!
Does this manual lighting have limits since you are hex editing it?
Also you said that you can manualy lightmap whole ap without bugs. Doesnt that take lots of time since you need to set up coordinates to every light source?
Maybe I'm missing the point but what's so great about getting some random message on the floor of a gunz map?
