HolyGG, you should probably take a look at the ijji weapons and apply their low polly techniques to your creations. 800 vertices is not at all necessary; an 800 vertice model can look identical to a 400 vertice model in Gunz if modeled & textured correctly. Not only will the extra details go unnoticed ingame, having high polly items will negatively impact the enjoyability of the game for the less fortunate computer owners.
Say you have 16 people in a death match. If every person in the room was wielding a 1,000+ vertice item, that is 16,000 vertices alone... moving around the screen at all times. That's not even factoring in the sets, maps and textures.
I would recommend keeping all of your Gunz creations at or below 400 vertices. If you feel this is too strict, try 600 vertices.
Putting aside that they're not acceptable as Gunz items, the way the models are constructed is okay. On the shotgun, I can tell that you laid a picture over it as the texture due to segments of the texture that are stretched. That's not good.
You will probably ignore all information in this post regarding the amount of vertices, then state I am ignorant.
If so: Oh well, I tried.
