Achieved anisotropic filtering in gunz (Note how the sides of the walls and the ground are very blurry with normal trilinear filtering).
Normal trilinear filtering:

Anisotropic filtering (The reason the background is a bit more blurred is i removed a dumb option maiet used to try and make it appear sharper. This is how it should look):

Nice one (HG have it too) the question is if it really help and give you more fps and less screen laggs by doing that?

Its not supposed to reduce lag or ressource usage ... while at the same time it does not cause any additional lag.

As HellSniper said, it doesn't help with fps, but it doesn't hurt fps either. Anisotropic filtering is free on any hardware not from 1999 lol.

so bro i dont see any reason to actaully make it if you want your quality to be more bad go ahead unless why would you do that?

Anisotropic filtering improves texture quality from a far distance for repeating textures ....
I suggest you read up on some 3d rendering features/effects.

but visually he just blurring the map which makes it look less sharper and doesnt really help the fps
OR i just dont get it right and he try make the map to be more sharper and doesnt heart the FPS if this the point so i fully support it

It's not blurring the map, maiet was toying with the lodbias to make textures appear sharper than they really are. I removed that for anisotropic filtering (b/c it causes bugs), which is why some far textures might not look as detailed. ground textures and wall textures however, do appear much smoother.

Eh, he's not fully functional yet. From what I can tell he uses waypoints as a method of aiming, and his waypoint list is borked, so instead of firing the dynamite/traps, he just sits there after the first initial summon.

only thing you guys miss now is SPY MODE and the server is pretty official

Yeah, I've got a spymode base coded that's about 80% done, once cq is perfected ill focus my attention towards that, then blitzkrieg.
