    I like the idea, but i do have some critisism.

    The map is rather small for a colloseum/arena, you might enhance the gameplay if yu make it larger.

    Add some props to the map. Right now you have a rather empty map apart from the hanging banners, try filling it up a bit with crates (just general cover) and fallen walls or something.

    Also i think you got some nasty repeating textures (textures where its very obvious that it's tiling). Using textures with less contrast (less darker values and less lighter values) will make it harder to notice tileable textures.

    and last but not least, i think you made some textures a bit low quality/size. Because right now some of the textures are very stretched.

    Hope this helps to improve your future maps!

    I made a Portal Gun in GunZ: The Duel. Currently a GM-only weapon for event usage.

    It is functionally similar to the Portal Gun used in the game by Valve Software, Portal.

    It allows for two portals up at one time per character. When a third is introduced, the last portal in the list of portals for that character gets removed and the new portal gets spawned at the new location.

    These portals are tracked by the server.

    When a player steps on a portal, they are instantly teleported to the other portal owned by that character. There can be multiple portals up at a time by different players, however, a single player can only own two portals at a time.

    When a player leaves the game, or the round is reset, the portals disappear.

    The gun itself has the model for the portal seperate from the portal projectile. At some point a 'blob' is going to be used instead of a flying portal.

    Here is a video ArticGunZ testing it in action (please don't mind the laughs, we were having fun with the development of the portal gun, lol)

    Updated the portal gun slightly.

    It is functionally identical now to the Portal Gun in Portal.

    It allows for two portals up at one time. Left clicking will put one portal on the ground, and right clicking will put the other one on the ground. Left clicking will always destroy the left clicked portal, and right clicking will always destroy the right clicked portal.

    Still need a way to remove portals (maybe a GM command since it's a GM weapon only, or middle mouse) besides leaving the room.

    Do you intend to implement the portal holes with the viewing of the portal?It made me want to try implement the portal view....

    No, not at this time. However, if someone were to want to put that in, I would be willing to release the code on RaGEZONE for my portal gun so they could do that. :)

    No, not at this time. However, if someone were to want to put that in, I would be willing to release the code on RaGEZONE for my portal gun so they could do that. :)

    Doesn't matter because yours look way better.
    besides that, try creating two different portals, instead of 1 of a kind.

    Just like "Portal" the game.. blue and red or something..

    It was me that coded the one of mocrogunz, it was my beta version, the version that i have now is similar like the one of SecretsOThePast. the only problem that i got was you can glitch into walls. Good luck and don't forget to make fun with it.
