Use .png then 7/10, you better should make u own idea weapons and not made from a picture.

And yes, like Vic said, use better filetyps like Png, or ONLY if u have a good
Image Viewer/Image editing Programm as a TGA/JPG.
Ofcourse it would also do the thing with dds, but i dont like dds.
(btw, a dds thumpnail viewer is nice to get original textures faster for some compare about the style etc.)
