So, yet again, I will try and do a project. As most of you know, I have a horrible reputation for dropping projects when they are over 75% completed (Asuna set, Halloween Map, Quest series, and Wicked Willy just to name a few), so this time I will attempt to do it another way. This project will be equivalent to an open source: as I finish things, I will post the development files for each (besides the textures' PSDs, because yah, you aren't stealing my hours of painting). This way, I can push myself more to finish the project (and if I completely fail yet again, you can use everything I create for your own malicious purposes).
As of now the map is [|||||||40|||||||||||] completed.
Basis of map: Large scale map for usage in a TDM/ CTF setting
Features: Multiple bases (with benefits on either side) + Animation + Normal Map Stuff
Scene Dimensions: 12456.0, 13959.4, 4800.1
Visual Polygon Count: Unknown
Collision Polygon Count: Unkown
Amount of texures: 28 (will change)
Size of all textures: 2.16 MB (2,266,624 bytes) (will change)
Note*: Map assets and floor plan will be created as separate entities then combined after the map is in the final stages of creation. This allows me to make more exact collisions, better work flow, and an ability to work on fine details rather than keeping everything where I want it.
