    You kind of forgot to mention A -> W -> Remove Doubles.
    Should be obvious to you what it does.
    Yet, when looking/fixing things for the server i work for i always
    find models that have a billion overlapping vertices and useless faces .__.

    Actually to be honest, I didn't know blender had a function to remove dupe verts. I could have easily guessed it'd have such a easy&useful/important function, but I don't fix anyone elses stuff for them, and I've never been so incompetent as to need/want that tool. :P


    np dawgs. I've realized there's alot of useless rambling in there, but I just wanted to give tips on how to stop doing this endless projection rip method. :[ It's only a step up from actually importing other's models into the games and claiming they're your creation because you know how to export.     On a side note,
    The surrounding color determines the outline of a transparent object.
    Means, if there is a symbol with a white (actualy transparent/masked off) background you will see a thin white border going on, when using the opacity at a model / ingame.
    To counter this you usualy surround stuff with a darker color of the main color you are going to give a transparent background.
    I guess its easier to just tell people to take the island/water/palm leaf texture of island and delete the alpha.
    Just sayin, you know, adding stuff.
