I have problems creating the launcher . I've followed the tutorial exactly

After I save it, the icon of gunzlauncher disappears and when I open it gives me an error: Gunzlauncher.exe is not a valid Win32 application.

plz help me with this error

Make sure you have this in dbo.Locatorstatus:
Locatorid=1
Ip=Your ip-adress
Port=8900

Make sure that in dbo.Serverstaturs (database) Opened=1

I checked all of what you said replaced everything, and yet it doesn't show the stupid frigin server, when i open it.... GOOOOOOSHHH!

@c4ted did you miss the part about putting your ip into the DB tabe? thats what it sounds like...

@hardas i call reinstall time!, thats if you install them both...if not unstall every think and install MSSQL first then MSSQLE

@maxtrax, no I didn't I put it in both the locator, and the matchserver tables.

What about my problem ?

@c4ted what? locator and matchserver dont have tabes, they have config files or setup files if you like

im talking about the Data Base(DB) setup for your IP

@ghostdlr when PE ask about the image thing click YES

I meant to say I have done that already I put the ip in moth tables locatorstatus, and serverstatus, and in the config files, and still no server pops up after i run the client

@ghostdlr its VS thats the problem if its not installed you would not have this problem, idk if you uninstall it now that it will work now...

@c4ted did you read the tut? where does it say put your ip in locatorstatus, it doesnt so dont!
locatorstatus is for Locator.exe to update dont touch that.... remove all thats in that table then try running ya server

2> make and folder in the root of you apache "Launcher" if you putted that in step 12 of the launcher edit
Check:
You have now c:/WAMP/www/gunzweb/GunzUpdate
and c:/WAMP/www/Launcher

Can you explain to me , why my pc allways have crush when i've install Microsoft SQL Server 2005 , then i needed to reinstall my windows, coz my pc was keep restarting ..... Explain this to me plz .

@snt9116 what windows you useing? it might be you have soem think running that doesnt like mssql 2005, or you have a virus(witch you couldnt of gotten from the microsoft web site download of mssql 2005)

I have Windows XP , and i can't get virus ... coz i reinstall windows, coz it made my pc crush ( this mssql 2005) , and after, reinstall and full format disck i tryed instal this again , and happend once more , so i had again reinstall my windows O.o .... thats why i don't touch it anymore, do you maybe know what i should do ? I must be sure this not happend again .

mabe its bad ram then or hard drive thats the only think that could be makeing your pc crash becuase it not the software and by the sounds of it not a virus(unless you didnt format your hard drive)

witch mean its a hard ware problem it could be ya RAM or HD(hard drive)

Hmmm oke thank u :P, anyway i'm going buy new pc after 1 months , so maybe ill try once more in 1 month ( is 8 gig Ram allright ) ?


EDIT ( NVM lol i tryed install it right now , and it's done no crush heh ) now mssql 2005 expert :P

@HigherGamers im not an MSSQL expert, idk what that error is

@snt9116 your ports arent open, if your running the client from the same pc as the server you wont beable to connect and if you have NAT on that mean you wont beable to connect to your own WAN ip
