Yay, I finally fix my problem. I can now see my server and connect =]
Apparently I had to use Hamachi to solve my problem.....

if you get it working on hamachi and not on ya real ip its becuase you havent opend the ports listed on the tut....


thats why you/others cant see your server ports are not open

seeing the server or not has nothink to do with the launcher

i need to open ports like to open ports of normal gunz? i mean original gunz? ijji...?

well i think i would of ended up using hamachi anyways, since my ip changes when i reboot my server..

For the guys who don't understand patch.xml part just change the name of theduel to Gunz. Not gunz.exe or theduel.exe or something :) if u then updated with patchbuilder change it back to theduel

I checked my wan ip on a site and got the ip, but i entered the ipconfig -all in command prompt and it said my ip was something diff. but to access my router i used a diff ip than both of those. whats up with that?

1 more thing- i think u should look in the picture on:
clientCount=0

you dont change config.xml in the cleint....you change system.xml in system.mrs

ER... i put the original config.xml file from the br client,
and now--- i still cant see...

If your ports are open, why don't you just use your wan IP?

Almost look in your dbo.serverstatus and dbo.locatorstatus and make sure the right IPs are in there

Dindush, check your launcher in hex workshop, make sure the hamachi IPs are in there, check dbo.serverstatus and locator status. check system.xml. check server files. that's all the help you can get for it haha.

just open up SMSE and it will pop-up with the configuration for the server to be connected to (server name, auth, login, pass)

Start with putting the IP's back to 127.0.0.1.

Then, start your Locator and set your system.xml to 127.0.0.1. If that works, you need to portforward to see the servers under your WAN IP.

Erm.. The MATCHSERVERADDRESS ip in your agenconfig.xml does it need to be 127.0.0.1 or your wan ip?

remove gunzupdate file and copy every think into gunzweb then rename gunzweb to update

Well. I tried apache.. but I don't really understand it.

Now the WAMP folders.
1> make an folder named "gunzweb" in there an folder "GunzUpdate"
2> make and folder in the root of you apache "Launcher" if you putted that in step 12 of the launcher edit

your just going to want C:/AppServ/www/Launcher and C:/AppServ/www/gunzweb/GunzUpdate/
put your updated files in GunzUpdate and use a ZPatchBuilder.exe to generate the patch for the launcher to read and update.

To repack it first delete ur system.mrs in that map
then u make text file, type in mrs.exe c system,
then save as .bat

With filelist I'm not sure, I use filelist disabled (found at downloads)

Fix, see ur database info in config.php or maybe u have to extract something in the database?? This was my problem..

u need to download the lastest ntwdblib.dll From the attachment and replace it in ur wamp/xampp/appserve where it is.This Might Fix ur Problem. Hope i Helped u . It Worked For Me.

try to edit the ip in locator.ini, locatorstatus in (mssql) to 127.0.0.1, then run locator, then unpack your system.mrs, change the ip's in system.xml to 127.0.0.1, then save and pack your system again, then delete ur odbc and make it again.
