BR/Jan/June Server And Client SETUP Guide!

i need a good website to my server and how to make it good, i had 1 but it isnt work in other computers, if u will tell me what to do i will be happy Ty.

Okay so I got my server to fully work, accept custom maps, accept edited clothes and all that.
Now I have a problem now that I am trying to let people outside my network join. I had the server running on my LAN IP until I could get my ports fowarded.

Now I have opened all the ports on the list, read over the tutorial 16 times to make sure there is no way I missed any WAN IPs or anything as such, made sure both the server AND client have been working etc. However neither me or the person outside the network were able to even see the server.

Now I have @SKIP_UPDATE in GunzLauncher.ini instead of the patch.xml and all that but I don't see how that would matter.

Please help me here or on MSN (chaos-bladezx@hotmail.com) and feel free to ask any information about how I have set up my files or post source etc etc.

EDIT: Should I be able to see the server if my client is set to the WAN IP or should ONLY my client have my LAN IP instead?
BTW I am using the Filelist skip launcher version so I haven't updated the filelists.

well first turn on your server and then go to canyouseeme.org from there enter the ports of the locator, matchagent and matchserver and check to see if the program can see you or not. If not then you did something wrong in your port-forwarding.

Okay I went to canyouseeme.org and tried all the ports from the locator, matchserver and matchagent and it could not see me on any of the ports whether the firewall was on or off. However I don't see how the port fowarding went wrong, I followed the port fowarding tutorial, entered all the ports on the list and then they were listed as open ports on the router.

EDIT: LOL! Didn't realise that the ports had been disabled when the attempt failed, I can see port 6000 now that it is back on, and most likely the others

hey max i did everything but in the end no servers are showing up any idea?

ps : edited system.xml , server status , 3.ini files , gunz launcher i changed all of em to my hamachi ip yea.

...is the name of matchserver the same in server.ini and serverstatus, if not the DataBase will think its a diffrent server...

...also have you updated filelist?(ON this tut aswell)...

...have you got the ports opened(listed on this tut for a reson)...

i only have a plain website on here for a reson...

@iFirewall i havent downgraded to vista as of yet i dont know if it does, im gessing yes but you must be an advanced pc user to figer it out

@Rishi i see you still cant read, ive never sed to use hamachi that is for ppl with an unstabe WAN ip
you cant use filelist still, even after the video?

@sharpavery you didnt type 127.0.0.1 for the WAN ip, did ya? the ips cant be both the same one has to be a loop back ip(E.G. 127.0.0.1)
and the other your WAN or LAN IP

Your server can be hosted on Windows Vista without any problems what so ever.... I am running a Beta Phase server on my computer for past 2-3 weeks with 0 problems from any incoming connections. The patch continues to work, there is no lag caused by vista what so ever... It works the same, if not better.

I simply suggest you disable your UAC (User Account Control) setting on your computer..

Well I've gotten pretty far in making this damned thing. And now I've come across a problem. It has something to do with the Database >.>. The error reads this when i try and execute it.
