Texturing Tips
/ Key Shortcuts \

Space [opens menu to add new shape]
CTRL + ALT + B [to make lightmaps and such ambient occlussion etc]
CTRL + ALT + S [The scale tool]
CTRL + ALT + G [The move tool]
CTRL + ALT + R [The rotate tool]
W [Opens a menu with menu options as merge and subdivide smooth]

/Some Basic Notes \
------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Light source will always come from one points.
2. When rendering a UVMAP in Blender 3D try to make it yourself and not make one from project from view. thise will strech the last pixel of your texture and use that on the sides.
3. Try to always use a Ambient Occlusion map for your texture this is a very good technique to see where your shadows are and it automatically adds some basic light and shadows.

2. NOW DO FILTER > ARTISTIC > SPONGE AND PUT THE SETTINGS TO:
BRUSH SIZE: 0
DEFINITION: 0
SMOOTHNESS: 1

1. ADD IN YOUR BASE METAL TEXTURE
2. ADD IN SOME COLORED RUST AND PUT THE LAYER STYLE TO OVERLAY ON ABOUT 10% - 20% OPACITY
3. ADD IN YOUR SCRATCHES LAYER AND PUT IT ON SCREEN ON ABOUT 10% - 20% OPACITY
4. ADD IN SOME BUMBED METAL TEXTURE AND PUT THE LAYER STYLE TO SOFT LIGHT ON ABOUT 60% OPACITY
