Dude, i installed SQLServer2005_SSMSEE or whatever but i cannot find a shortcut for it or the file to open it, its the file i need for step 1 etc, but the first file i need to use, where would shortcut be? i can't find it in C:/Program Files/Microsoft SQL Server/ ever!

Go to the Start Menu > Run > odbcad32 > Edit GunzDB's data source > Press Next > Type your SA password, if you are using Windows Authencation, then just click next > Check: Change the master database to:

I have a question...wont let me connect to server, I using a different launcher not sure if that matters..because i cant download one thats provided in this post.. I cant login on SQLEXPRESS on MMSE but it lets me on DESKTOP\SONY_MEDIAMGR does it matter wat u connect to? I also have everything .. im using local IP for the server files...Still not working :(

Everything has gone smooth until I ran the Gunz Client..
It gives me the regular "Welcome to LegacyGamers GunZ Launcher Update Wizard" thing..
Then I click "Next"
This is where I get an error..
It says "Download failed. Please select another server to retry or contact the software provider."
What do I do to fix this?

Alright, I just fixed the links for the DB, the server files, and the MRS unpacker. You guys should be able to find a client easily enough, I don't have a link for one right now.

Ok, 1st, everything works for me 99%
My server runs nicely, people can join it over the internet everything seems to be ok, but when i create a game, and other people join, we can run around inside the game but we cant see each other. all the players get stuck at spawn points even though they are running around.
You can shoot those charachters and it looks like there is getting score, but players doesnt die. :eek6:
Also when you chat in game no one can sees anything. It is like all the clients are not communicating correctly to each other, but when everyone leaves the game they go back into lobby and can still chat.
Any help would be nice.

Okay guys I have a huge problem!!! I got my server working but......I cannot access server!!!!!! Why is this happening? I did mostly every step correctly. I fixed my problem but I can't seem to do it?! Can anyone help plz!!!

Umm, Nice tut, But when i start my gunz program, It goes through loading, then when i get to "Loading Gameplay" It closes on me, and doesnt show an error T.T

So i have opened SQL managment epxress and made a new database called GunzDB now that i have done that it said to go to file > then open> then file and open you GunzDB.slq file.. now the problem is that i cannot find that file i dont know where it is.??? I have a little problem, when I went to run and I searched for obdcad32 and added GunzDB, and followed the instructions and added the server, after I did the test server it said something about failed or something. When I saw that error I removed GunzDB. And Tried to go over the instructions again and it failed to connect or something. hmmm i have the exact same problem... maybe we're doing sumthing wrong... ima send a PM asking about it then post in a comment here... BTW the ppls who say "can you post the SMSE and the other file?" need to be more self sufficiant. search on google and you will get a crap lode of stuff on them. and another thing about the password... if you asked 4 it ur a noob...
