[Tutorial] Play as NPC

Hey Mates, In this Tutorial I'll be teaching you how to "Play as NPC" , I'm sure Some of you may allready know how, But this is for the People who doesn't, Or has forgotten, So, without any further ado, Let's Rock.

Required Tools :

• MRS Unpacker
• Woman.mrs/Man.mrs & goblin.mrs, golem.mrs, Kobolt.mrs, Palmpoa.mrs and Skeleton.mrs.
• A PServer to Test it On
• Basic Knowledge in GunZ XML(s)

Step (1) :

Unpack either Woman.mrs / Man.mrs, your choice, Don't do both, Later on you would know why.

Step (2) :

Unpack One of the NPC(s) files (e.g - goblin.mrs, golem.mrs, Kobolt.mrs, Palmpoa.mrs and Skeleton.mrs) I'll be Unpacking "Skeleton.mrs"

Step (3) :

* Note: This Tutorial assumes you are Changing "woman.mrs" animations *

Delete Everything inside the "Woman" floder. (Yes Everything, leave nothing there.)

Step (4) :

Copy and paste Everything in the "Skeleton" floder into the "Woman's" floder.

Step (5) :

After Copying files into the "Woman's" floder, Search for "SkeletonM.xml" , Once you found it , Rename it to "woman01".

Step (6) :

This part is the fun Part, You get to imitate the NPC(s) Animations, Open "woman01.xml"(The one you just Replaced the name from SkeletonM.xml) In NotePad, you'll need to change " <AddAnimation name="die" " to " <AddAnimation name="dance" " , And so on, You can play with it how ever you want. (example: Laugh/Cry/Taunt)

Step (7) :

Repack "Woman" floder, Replace it with the Current one, Go In game to test it out.














Read: There is a Bug, Once you did all of the Above and went In-Game you will notice Once you Choose your Character the Screen goes black, The solution is very Simple, What you need to do is Simply click on one of your Other characters and then choose your NPC Character. (e.g - Your NPC Character is calld "NPC" and your other Character is calld "ABC" , Click on ABC then Click on "NPC" and Select it.)

I made one a while ago, but yours actually explains it so w/e.

Also the models kind of glitched for me sometimes, it tends to happen when i use a sword, after a few slashes it tends to not attack. Not sure if you fixed that or not.

Sadly your weapon won't go with the NPC armature.

is there anyway we can actually add the sets with it, ikno trinity did it. Because here you're just replacing the women shit with the skeleton shit. So all the women shit wud be gone o.o
