Yeah Tzui, you have to have version 1.0(Retail) of the game.
If you don't have Version 1.0.0 there is a 3rd Party Patch listed on the main thread, use it.
it says space needed 5.1m and i've got 15.3gb spare im sure thats enough lol but it wont let me run as administrator or install it at all and its the program i got off cta site just the client.
Are you an administrator on your computer?
And clear out some more space then, I think the game will probably be more accurate.

To MAKE a server you don't need the game, in order to play your server you'll need a copy of the game and the SAMP client.
