FallenCS - Free MU CMS | PHP 5.6.12 | Themed | Designed for old-school servers

Before anyone asks, this is a DEVELOPMENT, not a RELEASE. Don't ask for links because the project is only a few hours old.

Well. Most people seem to be using MUCore, or DmN CMSs, but those require licences, then people try to null them, people get annoyed because they paid for something others get for free, they can't add modules easily, etc, etc. So I've decided to make an open, free MU Online CMS for the RageZone community.

One catch - this will not support cash shops. Why? I'm a firm believer in the fun of old-school MU servers, where you couldn't make an MG until level 220, levelling was hard, shops had basic items and everything else was down to time and chance. I miss those days when MU servers had a more friendlier community, and trading was a viable economy. So, if this doesn't fit your idea for a server, don't use it. Simple as that, :).

Why am I posting while this project is so young? I want to hear your ideas! If you have an idea you think is good for an MU Online CMS to have that other CMSs don't have, make a post to let me know and I might put it in! This is a project for the RZ community, so it needs your input, :).

Features so far (will grow over time; remember, this has only just started, lol):

• Log-in
• Register (also creates the account's first character)

Planned features:

• Mini-games (Goblin Lotto, Charon's Castle Cards, Blind Hunt) - to earn zen, experience or skill points (configurable)
• Proper pages (so many CMSs don't include proper pages, e.g. a list of Classes, Events, Maps, Media - to show server community having fun, or even Quests page to help new users)
• Admin control panel (Remove Account, Ban Account, Ban IP, Add News, Configure Mini-games, etc.)
• Character functions (add points, reset/grand reset, PK clear, voting, statistics)
• Happy Birthday message and item per year (credit to Booms for the idea)
• Leaderboard (top 10 in sidebar, top 100 in navigation as a page link)
• CSS3 animation and HTML5 audio for the header (optional)

Like I said, please post any supportive messages (they're appreciated) and any ideas you have, because this is for the community, so I want to cater for as many good community ideas as I can (within reason).

Simple. Make a post in this thread, :). Instead of posting duplicate ideas (ideas people posted already), just click the Like button on someone's post if they have an idea you support. The more we all support everyone's ideas, the better.

That's a little bit (quite a lot) outside the scope of this CS. Think of possibilities more inside the realm of benefiting gameplay but through the browser, or being able to edit something that most CMSs don't allow you to. Like being able to change class on the fly (something else I'm considering).

not really its , easy to make read from file only in your php files need to use one way code only.
about this that you say most cms dont allow you, there isnt anything forbidden, just need to be maded
Also here is one suggestion for your cms that will be in handy. All modules need to had checked connect status for no dupe methods.
If connectstat =1 > Sorry log out of game first, else continued code

At first me too like old school servers and missed for that times.
So i request make CMS for older versions too like 97, if we want to make old school server!

As idea make present schedule for birthday celebration, celebration day...
Then we can set different items for first year,second and so on...
For reg: after simple registration, player can fill full details of person (name,city,birthday) from account panel.
At birthday player will get auto message with great wishes and gift )) for New Year, Server birthday and etc....

I love that idea, makes it more friendly for the community and helps get repeat traffic, ;). I will add it to planned features.

Great Idea :D It's good to work with the new php. To create the web, new features and differences, I recommend heches out the web MVCore, and muttered, they look pretty good and they have several functions.

In terms of design, the best designs are the reponsive, mobility and modern design, I remember that guy was, but I think bootstrap.


Well they are just ideas, I'm just picking up my learning web, before driving me more, but have neglected my interest for 2 years, hard to be supportive, but if I can contribute with ideas.

Ideas are very welcome, thanks for contributing, :). I have thought about making it responsive, I might be doing that just for tablet devices as I don't think many players would use a phone to reset their character since they can open the browser on their PC. Or do you think it should be responsive to mobile dimensions too?

Not necessarily to mobile, because the screen dimensions often vary so the web, as they are not well designed, lose their original design and do not look good.


Regarding the use, remember that the user panel is not everything, a good panel similar to MuCore but MVCore design, would rather striking a good design is the web management engine.


Well and in terms of functionality, users think alike use cell phones to connect occasionally, thinking that one is always connected to check something, and also not forget that today it is normal that everything is close to the world Touch, because the notebook 2-1, own processor and components on the screen, with keyboard and pad just a physical extension.


Good Ideas bro: P I wish my work on a new version of web and make it free because it is currently difficult to have as good as they all sold. There are many things to be rescued, many of the functions you can think of are in the "MuSite" of Leandro Daldegam (Open Source your Final Version).
