Yes, ever since today some of their badly-written conversions for dates are triggering errors.
You have to fix it in *every* stored procedure in the databases.
*** EDIT 3: You don't have to. Simply set the language for the user in the database to English and it should work as well. ***
How to do it?
Let's take Pangya_S4_TH's [ProcUpdateServerState]...
Running the procedure with test data will reveal a problem on line 171 (which happens to be at the very end of the file).
Looking at the line you should notice two CONVERT() statements... Now, you can find out which of these statements is defect by doing the following steps:
Copy each statement into a new query and select it (SELECT CONVERT(...)) and execute it. If the return values are kosher - it's all good. Or not? You also have to take a look at the table structure. Notice that the first of the two values is expected to be a datetime. Why they even convert a datetime to datetime is beyond me, but changing it to use a datetime directly will help:
[...]@ParanUser, GETDATE(), CONVERT(VARCHAR(16)[...]
Rinse and repeat for every other stored procedure and custom data type and you're good to go.

Note: As a cheapo fix for those who don't want to wait you can also set the date of the machine the SQL server runs on to -1 week from now and it should work again. But that's really not feasonable or acceptable workaround ;)

Okay, quick fix that should also work: If you don't want to edit all procedures, you can also set the language for the user you connect with (i.e. sa) to English and it shouldn't complain anymore. I think this is the best way.

Answer 1: As far as I know - no, you need at least 2 players for every game type. The only feature that works with 1 player is a chat-room. Better go family mode if you want to play single-player.Quote:

I'm no expert, but did you try running all the fixes posted in the earlier pages? cause that always helped me when my database was acting up.( sorry for the very broad reply just trying to help from the best of my abilities even though its not really help, just more of a suggestion)Quote:

In any case, I'm getting that same problem other people had where you click on the server, and kinda just hangs. I know for sure that was talked about, so I'll just skim through the thread again.
EDIT2: Okay uh... Server's disappearing and channels not showing up were issues that were addressed and fixed, but I didn't actually see anything about servers just hanging (showing the loading bar, but not actually loading channels). What do I do here?

@mikumiku Just take a look at your logs usually it shows errors like this
[E_"something here"] then shows you what stored procedure isn't functioning or you might not have added it yet. the basics are all in the thread i made if your unsure just execute all of it again and there you go ^^
I'm looking at the gameserver logs as I click on the server... I don't see any [E_xxxxxx] in the logs. I see [DB PROFILE CONNECT], [DB PROFILE ODBC GET RESULT], and [DB PROFILE METHOD] repeated for different procedures that are loaded, but that's it.Quote:

@MikuMiku you need to (in mssql 2008at least) right click the Pangya_Server_Config table and what i did was chose "edit top 200 rows" and then 2 boxes pop up and you enter the information in there, and i beleive you should make it

Now I'm having a different problem.
I purchased clothes for multiple characters, and they work just fine. But whenever I purchase clothes for Nell, they disappear as soon as I leave the shop (As in the clothing is not in my inventory). This doesn't happen to anyone except Nell. Anyone know how to fix this?
EDIT: To be more specific, it happens with Nell's Alchemist set (top/bottom, shoes, gloves). Though hair dye and Devil Wings seem to be fine. Haven't checked if this happens with the other clothing sets.
EDIT2: So I decided to directly add Nell's outfits using the Pangya_Item_Warehouse table. The clothing items are now in my inventory, but anything I equip on Nell comes right off as soon as I leave My Room.

2. for the .iff files go into your PANGYA_TEST/LOGIN and rename the pangya_s4_TH.iff to .rar and you can then extract the .iff's poeple are talking about then hexedit them and put them back in and rename it back to .iff(thats what i have been doing, but idk if its right, cause i have had no success with trying to add clubs this way and such so sorry if its wrong)

Well, those two files come from the pangya_th.iff, so you pack all the extracted files from pangya_th.iff again, copy it to the login server directory (overwriting the old pangya_th.iff in there), copy it to the game server directory (same drill) and create a pak file with the file for the game client. The best way to do it is to repack the latest .pak file from the client to make sure it gets loaded.Quote:

You *could* implement outfits from another region but the textures and models have to be carried over. Technically speaking it's rather easy for Pangya US and rather tricky for JP. The length of each recordset in those two versions are different - while US uses 512 byte records (like TH), JP uses something around 528 byte. So as long as you don't know where the extra bytes come from and what they do... you're out of luck ;)

read the logs, it can helps you
here's a quick guide to installing the server onto your system just incase you guys need some references.
1. Install SQL 2005: it's pretty easy and you don't need advanced stuff so don't bother with this too much.
2. Install the DBs: i use monk's DBs so its a fixed DB sort of but it still lacks the missing stored procedures.
3. Go to the other thread where you'll see the missing procedures all compiled (credits go to those who made it you know who you are ^^) and Execute it to their respective databases.
4. Configure the ODBC's if you don't know how this is done look at some of the old Tutorials on this forum.
5. install client and update to 582.03
6. Download fasa2008's ProjectG.exe to be able to connect to your server.
If i'm missing some "BASIC" and i do mean BASIC stuff feel free to add what ever you like. as far as i'm concerned i already did this 3-4 times i lost count already and I've been able to connect to my server successfully.
** if you cant see channels you're probably missing some stored procedures
** If your Equips don't save then re-run EQUIP_SAVE_S4 in the DB and it should be fine.. atleast that's what i Did.
Don't ask me about shops or adding GMs or admins. Some other person might be able to create it someday but not now i guess.
I will not answer any Log in related questions since it's pretty easy to set up. i will not answer item related questions since i might make a mistake explaining how to hex it.
That's it i hope you learned something pretty easy.
