Pangya Season 4.9 Server Files and Database

EDIT: Disregard what I put here earlier. For some reason, the maxuser was set really low. Don't remember doing that at any point.

In any case, I'm getting that same problem other people had where you click on the server, and kinda just hangs. I know for sure that was talked about, so I'll just skim through the thread again.

EDIT2: Okay uh... Server's disappearing and channels not showing up were issues that were addressed and fixed, but I didn't actually see anything about servers just hanging (showing the loading bar, but not actually loading channels). What do I do here?

@mikumiku Just take a look at your logs usually it shows errors like this

[E_"something here"] then shows you what stored procedure isn't functioning or you might not have added it yet. the basics are all in the thread i made if your unsure just execute all of it again and there you go ^^

I'm looking at the gameserver logs as I click on the server... I don't see any [E_xxxxxx] in the logs. I see [DB PROFILE CONNECT], [DB PROFILE ODBC GET RESULT], and [DB PROFILE METHOD] repeated for different procedures that are loaded, but that's it.

Does anyone know of a way, that allows friends to connect? whether is LAN or through the internet im not picky, but id prefer through the internet if its free -_-

Ok well did you try running the Bootstrapper that tsukasa posted earlier in the forum? and for the filegroup error, go into th Pangya_S4_TH properties click file groups and add the 4 or so groups it says are missing

@hh23162378 did you add the databases in the Data sources (ODCB) through windows?

When editing the .iff files do you just put them back into the Pangya_TH.iff? or do you also put it in the pangya_th_28102010.iff as well?

Or do i have to put it into a whole new .pak file?

And do they go in both the Pangya_TEST/Login and Pangya_TEST/Py_GameServer#01

cause im having trouble getting items like arins fairy wings or putting special clubs into the shop.

Go in table Pangya_Server_Config
Server version = 1.00
Client Version = 582.05 (or you version if you didn't updated to 582.05)

Need to confirm something, as I'm pretty much running blind, here (still complete newb to SQL). I go into the Pangya_Server_Config table, and am I supposed to edit the 'Default Value or Binding' under 'General' in 'Colum Properties', right? Or am I missing something?

EDIT: Going through the older files in the thread, I ran the 582.04 to 582.05 patcher... and the official TH update patcher now says 583.01... am I going to need to switch to that, or is it just lying to me?

Hey you gotta flip the server version and client version

Client version= 582.05

and BTW how did you get the Special club set?

@MikuMiku you need to (in mssql 2008at least) right click the Pangya_Server_Config table and what i did was chose "edit top 200 rows" and then 2 boxes pop up and you enter the information in there, and i beleive you should make it

Server version= 1.00
Client version= 583.01

then Hex the projectg.exe to 583.01

Switch the values for server and client version. You had them mixed up.

On a related note, I was able to fix the room-making problem on my side thanks to this post. I also had to use the 583.01 version number (This should not apply to you, outlawzzbr, unless your official TH update patcher is also on the same version number). Now I just need to change the Item Shop list to have all the items listed in the query that jhon posted, and edit my pang, then I'm set!

P.S. Where can I find/Is it possible to edit the PSQ character animation commands?

EDIT: @G0dzilla2000; Aw, you beat me to it. I was still in reply mode when you posted that. But yeah, like I just said, it's fixed now. I'm using MSSQL '05, by the way.

Where do you edit the Item shop list?

Editing shop items (like in: the items displayed in the shop) requires you to edit the appropriate IFF file and store it in the login server, game server directory, update your ITEM_TYPELIST table with the new prices and put the file in a pak for use with your local client.

Read the thread. It's long but it answers all the questions you could possibly have. Or, crazy idea, read the thread and write a tutorial yourself :)
