So, I have followed the guide, and looked through the pages; I am still pretty new at this, but I cannot seem to get an outside connection. I have changed the addess in the realmdb and on client's realmlist.wtf. When I changed the addresses for LAN it worked...
I opened the router's ports 8085 and 3724 using portforward.com's pfconfig program, but whenever I try to connect remotely, I still receive the "cannot connect" error. Am I missing something?
can you help me with these two errors:
cannot connect to wold database 192.0.0.0;name;pass;mangos
fixed. found that i created character database instead of characters.
for some reason it halted it all
realmd prosses priority class set to high

Im getting this error or something where i can launch both .exe's but nothing happens, i cant logon. any ideas? and btw where is the pw change for accounts??

wondering if i could get a little bit of help here. Im deployed overseas and need a little help acutally getting the software needed for this. was wondering if someone could actually send me the acutal exe programs. it sucks that i happened to lose all my work on making one before i left.. ok, well looks like this is a pretty dead thread but heres my problem.. very simple i kno im prolly overlooking something but.
when i load the game up. it goes to handshakeing and stops there can let it go for hours if i wanted to but it wont go any further then that. anyone have any ideas?

you have the incorrect dbc files. extract the ones that are compatible with your server version.Quote:

most likely a udb problem, maybe a version incompatibility.Quote:
Uhm, I got a serious problem! :( After all extractions etc. I finally got online on my first Mangos setup, all looks fine but there's a slight thing that is really, really annoying. I got no NPC's.. What could I possibly have done wrong? :( EDIT: Might be more.. Gamobjects, items.. (I tried to do ".additem 30311"(warpslicer) but it says invalid item id) Could it be the Udb? I used the compiled version you can find as a thread here.

Hi! great guide btw, but i had a question. i allready have both World of Warcraft and Burning Crusade installed so do i need to install the client from the site you have recomended? i know it seems a little n00bish but just want to make sure before i go 24 hours without internet ;-P
mangos doesn't use 2.3.3 yet because that patch just came out.Quote:
