How to setup a WoTLK Trinity Server 32 & 64 Bit. All Downloads Included.

I did everything that was in the tutorial I made a Private server before but it won't work this time heres the error I get with Mangosd.exe:

Did you use the extraction tools on a 3.0.9 WoTLK client?

Looks like you used a 3.1.* client...

I keep getting error.

go to your Windows/system32/drivers/etc folder and edit it as follows:

127.0.0.1 localhost
127.0.0.1 eternalstorm.no-ip.biz

EDIT:

Oh, and I fixed my problem thank you Monolith. I not sure if I port forwarded correctly or any other settings. Set Realmlist jetus.ath.cx and I also made a Test account called Test password: Test if someone could see if that works and if it doe's pm me or reply would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

Or Bind to your LAN 192.168.0.XXX...thats what I used on mine..

Read what I posted above...do not bind to eternal.no-ip.biz....

I have done it every way 0.0.0.0 everything

Try Bind IP= ""

IE: leave it blank on mango.conf and realmd.conf

Alot of the times you can just copy and paste the new exe's over your old ones...

Unless Mangos had extensive db changes then you have to apply the db updates found on the mangos site.

I'm running into this error, i think it might have something to do with XAMPP bc when i was configuring that i didn't get past the go to localhost/index.http or w/e part. The page wouldn't come up. I am completely new to this sorta thing and would appreciate any help.
Btw that error looks funny bc it only pops up for less then a second then goes away =/

I am using windows vista x32bit. have forwarded the ports, ive set my host file, and idk i been workin hard but idk what to do

Looks like your MySql is not running.....

Try reinstalling your XAMPP and get it to run all the way to the end of the setup....

Make sure you either on the admin account or have UAC disabled....

Make sure you remove ALL apllications of XAMPP even any services that might have installed....before installing fresh....

Port fowarding and host file really isnt needed until you actually release to the world....

You can play on the host machine even with no ports forwarded as long as you log into 127.0.0.1....

Alright I reinstalled XAMPP but its still not lettin me go to the website. I don't know how to run MySQL i just figured it would auto start up bc i was following your guide exactly bc i don't know how to do anything =/. Do i have to put the databases i made with SQLyog into XAMPP somehow? I wonder why i still can't get XAMPP going. Help please lol.

whenever i run mangosd or realmd i get an error saying its not a valid win32 application

Uninstall everything and attempt to install MySQL itself...not using XAMPP....

Sounds like your attempting to run the 64 bit version of the program....

Use the exe's from the 32 bit folder inside...

whats the max lvl for players
i can gave how much lvl i want to .. i tried hehe not 80max like on some repacks.. ??

and for reggacc please
everything is working except this ... statistics..
i get this when i click at statistics

Max lvl is 250....but the proper stats from level 80 to level 250 have to be added or they won't receive stats for each lvl up.

As for the reggacc account problem....I really do not know what the problem is....paste lines 10-15 here...removing any password info that it might contain and we can look at it together...

You can always attempt to overwrite the exe's and then run the server...if it throws a bunch of MySQL errors then there were revisions done to MySQL that have to be added....

Pry is working on a complete guild system....meaning guilds will have their own areas only they can go to.....

He said it was up and running...I myself ,being I do not run a server anymore, have not tested it....
