Could it be a problem with some language setting? i've got the european version.

@monolith: hunter explosive shot is bugged.
ive made a hunter with attack power only and i hit 2400 critical with explosive shot and the dot damage is 300.
attack power reached: 6600.

Alot of it is bugged and I'm thinking this project might be dead....

The creator of the repack has not released a new one in some time....

mangos doesnt support 3.1.2 , yet.

Could be...although this tutorial didn't assume any version in particular. But nonetheless, we can try a few more things, if it's a language problem, probably Monolith will know.

Okay hmmm...check the realmlist entries in Realmd database...particularly the address; it should be 127.0.0.1 for the client and server on same computer. Make sure the port is 8085

Also, in the config files make sure the username and pass settings after the address are matching.

And it isn't connecting, so what dialog comes up after you enter Username and password?

First I'd like to thank Monolith for the nice guide and all the guys that helped u develop it.
So I have a little problem. I set my server up and it works fine, but it doesn't let me make Draenei and Blood elves. My WoW is WOTLK v.3.0.9 so it shouldn't be a problem. So can any1 help me? thanks in advance

Change the "Expansion" setting in the account database to a higher number to enable Burning crusade or Wotlk.

Monolith I had a doubt, the effect "Knockback" only applies to players and not the creatures. Is this fixable?

Edit: OK, so theres a new problem. And believe me I read the whole thread and other ones about this problem and did everything they said but nothing changes.. The problem is that I can connect to my server but my friends can't. I changed the 127.0.0.1 in the realmd database to XXXXX.no-ip.org but others still can't connect although I can. I changed the 127.0.0.1 in the mangosd.conf and realmd.conf files too but still doesnt work and I even changed the BindIp "0.0.0.0' to # BindIp "0.0.0.0" like some1 mentioned in previous posts and still zilch. So any suggestions are welcome. Thanks again in advance :)

You really need to bind the ip to something....

Try using your lan...such as 192.168.0.101 instead of 127.0.0.1....

I'm experiencing a very common problem but can not seem to fix it with google. I installed MYSQL 5.1 then when I try to Configure it (set up the service) at the last stage of the setup i get: Service could not be started. Error 0... I uninstalled and reinstalled back, clear out the Registry and delete the main Mysql folder along with my data folder, anyone have ever come across this issue and solved it? Any help will be apreciated.

You have to make sure you did not already have MySql installed and running as a service....

If it's already running it will not run again.

Rev. 31 is being re-worked extensively by Pry....the ???? on the guards turned out to be the least of the problems....

All WoTLK quests were broken in the last update he used.....and loads of scripted zones were empty....

He stated he is working on it and will release the next Rev as soon as it's done.

Thanks for your answer, but I have make sure that I did not have MySQL, since I've never even installed anything like that on this Pc, besides the fact that is a Clean Instalation of Windows XP. :)... any other sugestions?
