Yes...mangos core in general is far from being ready for 3.1

Hi Monolith when the guys hit lvl 80 on the fun server it uses 9000 mana when doing raids any idea if there is a fix for it or how to fix it.

You guys are awesome!!! And had I known Devastate was going to be fixed, I wouldn't have spent a week in trying that, but no harm done! :D

Also, for the previous question, even if you increase or decrease mana in the tables, the usage increases or decreases proportionately for each spell. So it doesn't really make any difference if you have loads of mana or just the default.

Hmm...thats a strange one....had not heard of that yet....I will post something about it in the developmental forum and see what comes up ;)

there seems to be some errors in the newest database with runeforge spawns and the quest to receive the runeforging skill...

They are known to Pry and he will fix them as soon as he can.

Usually I fix the battle worn sword part myself....to share it....

Simply create a new gobject with the exact specs as the battle worn sword.....change the loot table the old battle worn sword used to go to the new one.

Respawn them where the old ones were and voila!

For some reason the gobject created previously for them will not work properly....

This also works for the arrows once you get down under Ebon Hold.

hey so far i think everything has gone well except for these errors, i assume the files i made with ad.exe are too new for mangos? can i find these files elsewhere?

Looks like you might have used a 3.1.0 client for your .dbc file extraction.

Probably got forgotten or something...simply spawn a new gobject in its place ;)

Seems like alot of things were left out in the new databases....Pry himself is reverting back to Rev 29....YTDB removed alot of gameobjects and npcs and readded them with different numbers so ALOT of things are missing...

Pry is working on it....so it's best to wait for Rev. 31

Pry spent hours tonight fixing the databases and I readded them to the original post.

Hopefully it's all good now.

Make a backup of the files in the "WOTLK9551_Mangos7740_SD1035_ACID009" folder, and overwrite with the files from the "32bit Core" folder.

I have to say, this was a very easy process. Ran into some snags along the way and was able to get everything up and running great. All I have to say is that that search button is your friend. Little quirks here and there and it does take some knowledge of SQL and some Windows experience but all in all, not that difficult. Patience is must if you are even contemplating doing this. My hats off to everyone involved.

The only questions left is I haven't seen anything about how to reset all the realm specific achievements. Like realm firsts and what not.

Also, is GM island suppose to be empty? I see no NPCs around. I am using Rev 29

GM island was once used for a place for players to get items in previous Revisions...but Pry moved them all to his mall....

Achievements can be reset by either trunicating the achievement table in player database...or I THINK...not sure there is a gm command to reset them.

Make sure you changed the IP of the server and name in the database realmd.

In your realmd database go to account select u're acount and in "Expansion" modify to 1 for BurningCrushade or 2 for LichKing. It's a good ideea to set it as default to 2 since this is a server for LichKing. To do that right click on table "Account" Click on "Alter table" and in "expansion" set as default 2 and click on "Alter"

If you imported the db's fine and mangos loaded up yet theres nothing in there....

Your database must be corrupt.....cause if no npc loaded mangos would have thrown up an error...
