I need a database for mangos 7606... pls help me!!!!
Now that I have my server up and running, There's a few other questions:
1) How can I make my server to be double the XP on quests, killings and skills?
2) Is there a way to put my server on one of those web Host places so its up all the time and I don't have to keep my computer running all the time?

Log in loop is usually based around an incorrect IP in the realmlist.realm DB or mangos.conf.Quote:

Is this correct? or do I have to replace the first 127....localhost for the new one?
ok so I followed the steps on this forum to ge my server live to the world. I have changes my host file on the windows folder to:
127.0.0.1 localhost
127.0.0.1 example.no-ip.biz
also modify the values on my mangos and realmd instead of having 127.0.0.1 i now have
example.no-ip.biz
changed the value of my realmlist database from Mangos... 127.0.0.1 to Mangos... example.no-ip.biz.
And finally opened the ports 3306, 8085 and 3724 on my router.
I can Log in from my computer to example.no-ip.biz and even see the website, with control and everything, but my friend (who also is able to see the website) is not able to connect, he puts usr name and pass then it says : - - > CONNECTING < - - ...
Anyone has any idea of what am i doing wrong?
PS: I have not TOUCHED the BINIP sine I dont have a clue what that would do to my server.

I am experiencing several issues around step number 8 and 9. Whenever I try to launch mangosd.exe/realmd.exe (32-bit core) the windows close within a split second. Can anyone tell me how this can be resolved?

check your mangos.conf and realmd.conf, make sure you have 127.0.0.1 and also check for connectivity with the DB, post the error Log (not the whole thing, just the error) so we can help u out a bit better.Quote:

EDIT: So I found out that im forwarding 2 ports but only one is open, the Realmd port is not opening to the world... gonna check back on u with the answer.
EDIT 2: I could not find why it was not lettin me forward port 3724, so I change it to another one about 10000.

You cannot name the server Mangos from what I understand...you need to make sure you change that too....

dont change the 127.0.0.1 leave it alone
and on Bind IP = "mywowserver.no-ip.biz" on both files
finally, change the realmlist DB to mywowserver.no-ip.biz instead of 127.0.0.1...
