[Development] LaStar Private Server Progress

hey zyepher, if you play LT on ogp you might know xxriznoxx, if you do then its me. Anyways, i just got this crazy idea, about johny and the so called ''snitch'' guy might have planned some sort of arguement about ogp knowing about the LT source johny said he is making, in order to make an excuse when he discontinues th project, which he might have not even started, just like roamer did though he had screenshots. So far johny only tells us the progress but no proves(screenies), some of you might flame me.

You don't "snitch" for those companies as a job, so why the hell spend time reporting every private server out there?

You can't stop them, just look at MapleStory.
Also, you have no real proof that he's coding an emulator.
This could all be bullshit for all you know.
Hell, the coding of the emulator isn't even illegal.

My guess is that it would take jonny maybe a year by himself to even finish, which wouldn't satisfy the public, like you Swift. OGPlanet might even shut this down. Besides, and this is for jonny, I hope you know the public (pointing to people on forums) will not really appreciate you once the server is ever complete. Other forums will make their own based off yours, without really giving you credit, and the people won't give you credit. They'll be playing the server for their own enjoyment. It's like plagerism, and many people break that law by accident or never care about it.

You dont know me? Why do I need credit? I know what i've done and what i've completed. I'm not in it for money or for fame or anything. Wouldnt the whole point of people play the server would be for enjoyment.

What are you talking about? That post wasn't even directed at you. And no I didn't say everyone who played latale was a loser, heck I played it to around lvl 115 and on another char till 60. I said "people like you" and by "you" i mean the person that post was directed twords. :s

Thank you for your interest in LaStar but currently there is only ONE developer. And it is currently an emulator, not a private server source or server itself. The first post it just what is "planned" to happen. But anything can change, I appreciate your "snitching" not like Ogplanet will do anything, they already have aeriagames to worry about. Plus Ogplanet is going downhill due to there failure items. Otherwise, thank you for your contribution towards the "activity" of this thread.:love:

hmmmm, what if 45 percent of ogp were to pretend they were leaving ogp. Would ogp do anything to bring them back?...if we(people that care) could get it to happen, maybe ogp will act fair and stop eating up all the money players give. And actually do something good...something that isnt temporary o_o'.

Shes right about og failing, they had to get rid of that cannon game, and now lost saga is startign to fail.Thats why they reduced the amount of astros u get for UGC and OGPgame cards

I hate Dungeon Fighter online (2D side-scroll), it's like a bootlegged Grand Chase (3D side-scroll).
DF = 2D graphic
GC = 3D graphic
GC = Better sound quality
GC = Better graphic quality
GC = The best PVP of any MMO
GC = Awesome+creative combo system that proves skill. (No button mashing)
GC = Character voices from real voice actors, some voices questionable. I Love the Korean voices, it sounds like something outta Japanese.

Not to advertise Grand Chase, but it makes Dungeon Fighter a pointless game to exist. My main is a Lv47 Lire (Archer) and a Lv42 Ronan (Spell Knight) IGN is HotStuven. Add me if you want, i'm pro. =D Extremely pro to add. Lol.

PS: If you do complete the server, everyone who plays, maybe me o_0 , try to stick to 1 kind of class. You guys gonna need full cleric type mages, Knights with maxed stat buffs, and Knights who can tank. I see alot of noobys as mixed mages who increase more than one type of element, which is a big NO NO, since the elemental buffs don't stack, and you can't master anything.

no he does what i do...when i get iris blessing i got to spooky..an instance thing(dungeon), and i use my superior xp pot and my peach can and my xp nostrum and i get about 100k a kill xD lvl 40 in 2 days and im barely leveling.

Nah. I just got to 90 yesterday. Just went into spooky for the first time today. Also I just did it the old fashioned way. All quests done, then grind.

Its mad easy to level in LaTale, I am a lv80 blader, lv60 bowmen explorer, anda 30-sumthin earth mage

Just do all your quests and grind on weekends/iris buffs. If you can afford peach cans, great! I was never able to, and I never did. Train with a friend or two at Liliput Freeway from 60-80.

Too bad Latale lags a hell lot, and sticking with 1 attack skill section makes you die VERY fast during the lv60+s. Once you head into that beach place at lv60 you do 4 attack specials or 5, and then KNOCKBACK KNOCKBACK CRITICAL KNOCKBACK DEATH!?!?!

I spent my time from lv70-75 dieing 20 times ina row from mobs around portals where I had to go to my training spots, or I go to fight 3, and 2 spawn with those 3 and kick my ass. THATS when grinding gets hard. >_>

I know at first it seems hard. But it's not that hard.

Level 84 templar. Play at your own pace lol. . .Know one is making you level. . .I level like once 2 or 3 days. . .Not spending4+hours killing the same thing. . .hell no. . .Thats why people play private servers.

See LaTale is pure client sided...so when you have bad connection to the server you have a delay. So lets say you like in New York server is located in i think cali...so from that far of a distance there is huge ammount of lag between client and server. Pretty much if you have bad internet you can't play..simple as that.

How the fk did u get all those xp items? like the nutrium or somthing and the superior dont they cost a sh!t load? Btw ill be happy to add u just tell me your name =D. I cant get passed level 64 lol was hoping someone can help me. I train at spooky the whole time and fkin crap exp.

I dont really think main server is hard or has too much grinding because i got to lvl 73 in a week without exp bonus items, i go to school in the morning then go to br boxing class till like 7 in the eavening and i get home and spend 45 minutes on any important things i gata do [i kind of dont have job yet], then i play latale for 3hrs then play any other games or call people i know till i feel sleepy. Then on weekends if i got no where to go or have nothing to do i play latale

sorry for double post but anyways if you wana make 1m in 2hrs its easy once you get used to it you will make about 10m a day, ok this is for lvl50s up, 1st, go to the time gate inside piramid then buy cheap items from the weapon caveman then em for 45% off at ch1 they 10% better than blue name items so if you sell them you should make about 300k profit. Or get cheap item with rare item drop then go to invoke,hyunmu dung and get the items and npc them invoke item that are not weapons are 20k+.

and i meant sell em, if you get weapons from the dungeon, usually blue name you can them to people for 3m if the duration is 200 or 170 or 190 you can sell em for 10m, 15m sometimes 20m depending on durability and how hard it is to find.Also i always keep 75% of money in bank and the rest in hand which is gift to newbs and potion money.

Ah. I see. I don't know anything about Gaming servers, I only know about small web servers, and a little bit about ventrilo servers. Where is the server located? Provider? Bandwidth (hopefully not a 10gb backbone / router like OGP uses xD)

Yup, make sure you got a wind mage, for fast progress and a club knight, with a knight progress might be slow but you lose less hp. Make sure YOU dont be burden to them cuz some people WILL leave if you slow em down, archers are shit till lvl 70. With daggers you will keep owning.

um at lvl 50...get a warrior lvl 50+ and just one more shield using class and grind at toad island kill the farting bug monsters, they should be giving you 80.0% each kill. the harpie should give 3/4% each time, just have a lot of pots cuz their fart isnt silent x.x but its deadly.

lol xD i grind in spooky ville and im like lvl 48 dagger explorer was bow. Its fast if you have friends to come you can kill about 10 mobs at once instead of just 2 or 3.

any server progress yet on any latale private server?
