Well, i'm still looking at this problem. Did you still get the same problem after using my latest version (v1.07b)?.

Check all of these :)
1. You can port forward with your router.
2. You can open up a webserver or any other server
3. People from other internet can see your website that connected to your webserver
4. People from other internet can see your other service from other server.
5. People from other internet can connect to the login server (RAN).
6. You will see an outsider IP Address on the login server.

If all of them is passed. Sure! :D:

@pyrostrex now i am succesfully online my server using (v1.07b)version ranip interceptor. im am testing mode for now hope no error will pop up ,this is great released easy to online server now ^_^. tnx alot pyrostrex

almost 24 hours online my server with out encouter error. even you restart your router and modem no need to refresh server it will automatically fixing error "failde to be process" unlike wpe pro you need to restart again in again every time reset modem/router, this is great released. lan ip/wan ip can connect with my server with out any problem. i love your program pyrostex tnx for helping me.

Add ALL your LAN Player's LAN IP Address to the lan_ip_list in the ran ip interceptor configuration WITHOUT SPACE, SEPERATE EM WITH COMMAS (ex 127.0.0.1,192.168.1.1,192.168.1.2,192.168.1.3). Use 192.168.x.x in all your server configuration files :)

Note: If you are editing the riiconfig.ini lan_ip_list, you can just click the Update IPs button after done editing :).

After 48hrs of Server uptime....

no error comes out! no character failed! v1.07b is the great once.

I noob here but I here about this great program of pyrostrex. I'm using Dynamic IP so I'm relying on Hamachi as my permanent IP.

once I saw these thread I'm amazed about this program even though I never Tried it.

I'm doubting if I can do it too...

As far as I can understand (Im Noob) I think I can setup this with my LAN.

But I don't think that other can access my server because I don't know how to setup it in the RAN CLIENT PARAM.INI (where the IP address of my Dynamic IP is Located.)

In short... I don't know how to setup it in my RAN Client Param.ini is there any tutorial about this????

You only need this software in the server! This software is not designed for the client.

To setup your server as a public server, you only need to know some thing, port forwarding and use LAN IP Address of the server computer instead of 127.0.0.1

For players outside your network (WAN) use WAN IP. Since you are using dynamic ips, you have two option here :

1. Find a launcher that support dynamic ip or create it yourself
2. Every time your ip changed, add new param.ini with the patch.

Hope this will answer your question since i didn't really understand what you actually wanted :)

I have a Edimax 4port Router and a 8port switchhub, I don't know how to configure it to Port forward router (or I need to buy a router that supports port forwarding). My Server is connected to the router and the switch hub too (for my internet cafe shop 6PCs). I actually setup my IP as Hamachi's IP so outsiders can connect to (with hamachi's help).

This what I've setup:
* My current IP is 192.168.2.110 (I've modified this to all server CFG)
* I setup riiconfig.ini as the filename of my server files (casesensitive)
* Lan IP list Length (3826 as default) I've changed it to 4826 (correct me if i've done something wrong).
* Lan Ip list 127.0.0.1,192.168.1.1, up to 192.168.2.110 (I surely add all my client's lan IP with no spaces)
* All Servers and RAN IP runs great without errors! (See Attachment)

* I changed the IP on my Client's Param.ini to my IP 122.53.53.93 as my new dynamic ip. (haha! I don't know if my mistake is here) Still I can't connect.

Haha I really don't know how to configure it but it will surely connect if I changed it to 192.168.2.110 as my lan IP. how about the outsiders ^_^.

Sorry but this software doesn't slow down the uplink and downlink like you said because my software doesn't use any extra internet connection other than downloading about 62bytes (IT'S ABOUT 6/100 FROM 1KB!) every 10 second from the internet for the ip detection system. Field crash? my software have nothing to do with field server. So as here by, i can say that this is not my software fault and this is not a bug :):

You need to check on your login server if there is your client's ip address showing up in the login server console. If no then, you are port forwarding the wrong port. The real port for login is 5001 (if i'm not mistaken).

for the router port forwarding thingy, you can ask http://www.portforward.com first before trying to waste your money to buy a new router that support port forwarding (you said it right?)

I double check the server login and try both dynamic and my own IP but still my client can't connect when I try to use my dynamic IP to my Client's Param.ini
I tried to used the Portforwarding config but I dont know what should I put to the TCP and UDP, I tried 5001 and 5003 but nothings happen.

Maybe I should try to buy a router with port forwarding.

2. Make sure people from the outside successfully ping ur ip address.
3. Make sure people from the outside can connect to your login server.
4. Make sure (people from the outside)'s IP Address is showing on the login server.

I've tried downloaded it, it isn't empty. Btw, i uploaded all my releases directly in RageZone so yeah basically this problem did not happen.

Well, today i was being able to contact Russhimi (the creator of the video) and he said that i'm the one who doesn't fix the link. After some check, it was actually my fault! Sorry guys!, the link has been updated! You can now download the guide on the first page again!.

You're right!, why do you need all version. The v1.09 is the most less bug and yet the most stable version.

I don't know if you really know computer or not. Of course you don't. This is because i didn't include slogin.ini to my package for security reason (well basically if i include it, people will have a problem when extracting my package to their ran server folder and i don't really like flamers :P. No Offense!). You need to provide it yourself. Copy it from your ran server folder or just extract my package to your ran server folder and your done. :)

Of course there's a solution. Just run all ur server before clicking the start button and check riiconfig.cfg check the file_name, make sure it is same as your login server and agent server filename.

1. Make sure no space (eg. LoginServer.exe, AgentServer.exe).
2. Use version 1.09.
3. Tell me both filename used and i will try to take a look when i have time.

Remove the "2-" and "4-" (without quotes) on your riiconfig.cfg filename.

for a dynamic connection, how does this program replaces hamachi client side? Do i need to patch client every time ip changes or did i miss something about how to set the client to connect to server?

yes, you need to patch your client param every time ip changes. or, you could find a launcher that detects your ip and change the param everytime before trying to connect.

Thanks I thought i could scape my high static ip bills with this program. Anyway its a very nice and useful program server side. Hope someone here can come up of a Launcher that auto detects ip changes so I can downgrade to dynamic with lower costs.

Well, i've come up with an idea for this problem and by this i mean i actually have a solution. I will be creating a launcher soon for this problem. But i don't know when i will be creating it since i don't have the time to do it.

But for anybody who wanna create a launcher, considering storing a template param inside your launcher and use it to generate a connection and replace the old param. Well, this is my only idea since no one is helping me with the param encryption for ep4.

Oh, btw it's really easy to make an auto detect ip launcher: (dunno if this help)
vb programmer: Just use the winsock control for vb6 or net socket for vb.net to try and connect to a hostname for the ran server and convert it to ip-address (winsock and net socket does have this conversion function)
c++ programmer: winsock 2.0 is a bit long-coding but with one of its function, it can also convert from hostname to ip.

If someone can help me with the param encryption, the param can be change directly on time without need to generate using template file right?

If my idea works, this will help many people with dynamic ip.
