I noob here but I here about this great program of pyrostrex. I'm using Dynamic IP so I'm relying on Hamachi as my permanent IP.

once I saw these thread I'm amazed about this program even though I never Tried it.

I'm doubting if I can do it too...

As far as I can understand (Im Noob) I think I can setup this with my LAN.

But I don't think that other can access my server because I don't know how to setup it in the RAN CLIENT PARAM.INI (where the IP address of my Dynamic IP is Located.)

In short... I don't know how to setup it in my RAN Client Param.ini is there any tutorial about this????

Pls. Help!

You only need this software in the server! This software is not designed for the client.

To setup your server as a public server, you only need to know some thing, port forwarding and use LAN IP Address of the server computer instead of 127.0.0.1

For players outside your network (WAN) use WAN IP. Since you are using dynamic ips, you have two option here :

1. Find a launcher that support dynamic ip or create it yourself
2. Every time your ip changed, add new param.ini with the patch.

Hope this will answer your question since i didn't really understand what you actually wanted :)

Great... programs,, but hope you will fix some bugs in program pyro,, it slow down the uplink and downlink of data.. vice versa to client and server...
tested and proven,, what if your player is 200+ or more... what happen field crash??

server lag or delay depend on ur connection

Sir Pyrostrex,

I have a Edimax 4port Router and a 8port switchhub, I don't know how to configure it to Port forward router (or I need to buy a router that supports port forwarding). My Server is connected to the router and the switch hub too (for my internet cafe shop 6PCs). I actually setup my IP as Hamachi's IP so outsiders can connect to (with hamachi's help).

This what I've setup:
* My current IP is 192.168.2.110 (I've modified this to all server CFG)
* I setup riiconfig.ini as the filename of my server files (casesensitive)
* Lan IP list Length (3826 as default) I've changed it to 4826 (correct me if i've done something wrong).
* Lan Ip list 127.0.0.1,192.168.1.1, up to 192.168.2.110 (I surely add all my client's lan IP with no spaces)
* All Servers and RAN IP runs great without errors! (See Attachment)

* I changed the IP on my Client's Param.ini to my IP 122.53.53.93 as my new dynamic ip. (haha! I don't know if my mistake is here) Still I can't connect.

Haha I really don't know how to configure it but it will surely connect if I changed it to 192.168.2.110 as my lan IP. how about the outsiders ^_^.

Sorry but this software doesn't slow down the uplink and downlink like you said because my software doesn't use any extra internet connection other than downloading about 62bytes (IT'S ABOUT 6/100 FROM 1KB!) every 10 second from the internet for the ip detection system. Field crash? my software have nothing to do with field server. So as here by, i can say that this is not my software fault and this is not a bug :):

You need to check on your login server if there is your client's ip address showing up in the login server console. If no then, you are port forwarding the wrong port. The real port for login is 5001 (if i'm not mistaken).

for the router port forwarding thingy, you can ask http://www.portforward.com first before trying to waste your money to buy a new router that support port forwarding (you said it right?)
