Yes it is effective.

Just follow the guide on how to use the Ran IP Interceptor.

The difference in Ran IP Interceptor is you have to forward all ports that the server uses.

In hamachi,... you don't have to open the ports because it acts like a NETWORK HUB (Virtual Network).

In networking you don't need to open the ports only to connect to server. Either Hamachi or Physical Network (HUB or Router).
