Hey guys...it works to me! I've been tested broadband static ip. We used NetGear WGR-614v6 Wireless G router...now the server is direct...

Much better, use the old version (RAN IP Interceptor-1.07b.zip). All you have to do is set the lan ip address on the cfg settings (both cfg of server side and cfg of Ip Interceptor). And use WAN IP for param...^_^

Note: Make sure your ports are all forwarded properly. In my case on Ep7, I forwarded all ports of server start. This is applicable only for Globelines users especially those who applied for static ip...for PLDT users is more compatible rather than other wired ISP's. And this tool only works for wired internet and not for wireless internet...ouch!

If your router is capable to forward all ports, go to Port Forwarding Guides Listed by Manufacturer and Model - PortForward.com

after a few minutes or hours you can't login in game because always character data fail to be process ^^

Tip: On ep7, login a test/demo account and make a character (on your own server). Just stay on character selection and do not minimize. Let the LED on your cpu always blink meaning process is still working..hehehe

@royaljourney, maybe your database is not compatible. I experienced that scenario...and I fix it!

According to the research...the problem is on the UserAge.... I think is on the RanUser...just look around...

In my case, I never experience that coz I'm using korea files and not chinese files...hehehe seifer suggested me about that. Try it!

If you are logging in to your own server to play, never! Play to other pc (use LogMeIn Hamachi to connect in game). I'd never use Virtual PC or VMWare for game testing coz my pc is not suitable for gaming. If your pc is high-end, that's good it is an advantage!

Situation: Character failed to be processed on other pc (you are trying to play)...
Tip: If you are developing ep7, the problem is in your database. Using ramispo's database must be modified, add the purkey and new query for that like student attendance and item-no-identity. The queries are now released here, just search it. Another thing, maybe some part of your port ID's are not properly forwarded. Make sure all your settings are correct...^_^

Addition: Not all router are compatible to Ran IP Interceptor like what I said that it works to me using NetGear. Hopefully, your router is compatible for this program. This is 50-50 chance to make it work.

just try it what i say... try to port forward the 6xxx not just only 5xxx ... just try it , because on my previous server all port 5xxx including 6xxx is working fine for me.. login-in character and play entering in-game are had been processed smoothly...

btw... good to be back for me .. it's been a long time,, i've been member of this section but i leave for several months (i think eheh). due to busy scheds & schooling ehehe....

Sir how should I configure this thing?

I change some configuration in riiconfig.ini
to support my own loginconfig file (game04.ini)

In my server config file I used localhost / 127.0.0.1
but in config folder of RII I used my IP (192.168.10.106)

Help me please, I'm stuck after I configure my Server Files... I'm trying to host it in LAN...

Ports technique.

ok... I will give you some technique if you are experiencing problems and you are suspecting it's a port's problem. (This technique will show you if you're having problems regarding in port forwarding.)

This is what will you do for troubleshooting only. (Opening All Ports)
Open your router configuration,
on the Port forwarding settings...
Just enter this port and 1 - 10000
and your Lan IP (192.168.x.x) address where you want assign to port forward.
That's it!.

Note: If you are experiencing the same problems..., it's not a port problems anymore... It's just your Server Files Configuration... or incompatibility between your database, game.exe, serverfiles.
