[Tutorial] Setting Up KOCP + FIX Csocket

Ok this guide is easy and for the 900 people who keep asking

-"i get CSocket error, when i logon my svr"
-"when i click login nothing happens"

okay okay, here is the guide that will stop your annoying questions that has been answered a trillion times.

Step 1:

- Get a Clean Engine (everywhere in release section) [Can be found in valdis files]
- unpack it with "Unpecompact"


Step 2:

- Download KOCP
- Install it "it will ask for the unpacked engine" so just point it at that


Step 3:
(after you successfully finished)

- Pack The Engine "look up (engine packer) on google" and get any packer, desnt matter


Step 4:
(time for MD5)

- Download any MD5 Checker Program, found everywhere on google
- Copy The Right MD5 Codes for "

• config.pk
• E.pk
• protect.dll (comes when you install kocp)
• Engine.exe (the one you just made)

and put it in "Config.properties" in the right section. (assuming you have the latest KOSP)


Step 5:

- test it out, it should work, and you shold login in the game "make sure to change the pk password if you want to" - Release section, you will find a lot of programs that auto does it.

- if you still managed to get a CSocket error, you need to change the "swordCrypt = 0"
to SwordCrypt = 2

that should fix it, if you still managed to not get it to work, well then you have done one of 2 things wrong.

1 - Didnt put the right md5 hashes
2 - didnt change the pk passwords for config/e/engine

you dont need an installer to install it, just a bit of hex editing and the right files, theres a tut around here somewhere
