[Request]Help with Updater

Ok im starting to think this is a updater/client problem here but i got all my files working right, it uploads an updates properly an everything but everytime someone goes to log into the game it gives them a char log error and there is no sound what so ever with the game is there some way to fix it? ive tryed reloading the Sdata to make sure none were corrupt, ive checked throu my db an everything is fine an ive been goin back throu the hex an checking everything. So where would i go about fixing it or should i jus create a new uploader?

Ok, I've read through all of this, but now how exactly do I make a patch? For example: my item mall is custom. But i don't want to have to put a new client out there for people to download, i just want it to patch with my updater. How do i make the patch so that everyone's item mall changes?

And i'm still having several errors while trying to make my updater. I've tried multiple things, and nothing seems to work. :( I'm at a loss.

Create a patch of your updated Cash.sdata file. :) That's how I did it.

As for the updater problems, there are many different posts on how to edit the updater. Just search around, not only this forum but others as well. Remember: Google is your friend.

It's apparent Twilight left. :( Either way, I've followed 4 different guides, including this one, and i get the error "A connection to the server could not be established". Getting really tired of the errors, and i've been at this for 3 weeks now.

You need to change the file Updater.exe to the correct http:// address of your Web server.
If the address is not correct then there will be a connection error.
