Further research shows no matter what you do really the login server i think it is, pulls the ip dynamically. Basiclly it just uses whatever it can find, so if your using internal IP's 10.x 192.x 127.x ect, it forwards it onto the client upon connection (if you open command prompt and type netstat -n on a client box you will notice its trying to connect to a LAN ip instead). The only way to resolve this issue that im aware of is to have a working external ip in your ipconfig listing of adapters. I tested this and it fixed the auth problems I had.

As for the script files im totally clueless, ill wait for BoTgod's expert advise on that...

Well if it acts like the habbo hotel emu, there's a work-around.

You could first find your glopal ip, then assing a static internal ip with your external ip, start the server and then revert to your normal static internal ip

Hi i have a little problem The server is ok work fine no errors but if try to connect with client ,The client Say Fail to connect to login server i have make upgrate to client and i have edit the login.dat but nothig happen can help me to solve this problem ?

you have add a checksum which will identify ur client. you can get it from login log.

Ok thanks i fix this but now i have another prob :) i cant make acc i use the web but nothing the web say the acc create but notthing happen no acc this is the first and the second is i cant connect the admintoolclient i read the guide and i make the same but i cant connet

I have a server of ryl that already has but of 5 days up and use these you do not case out lowers sources and she creates them to the server you case out XD and walks of 10.

I'll reply once to this, because i dont want this GOOD DEVELOPEMENT thread to turn into a flame thread.

Never once did you help me with my RYL server. I set everything up myself, troubleshooted every single problem, and learned everything about it myself, through trial and error.

You sir only wanted GM commands so that you could go on my server and level you and your friends up. Sorry, I dont run servers and just give anyone and everyone GM and the commands so they can run a muck in my server.

I only went off on you on MSN after you harrassed me day after day to do this and to do that, I was willing to let you be a GM in my server because you seemed like an OK guy, but now I see your nothing but a power hungry little kid.

I'm done with this discussion, I'll be glad to share the info for compiling new items, and even changing max level as soon as I have the time to write a guide.

A way to get the auth server to work behind a router may be to use 1:1 NAT. (one-to-one nat.... if your router or firewalling device supports this) 1:1 NAT is definitely different from standard NAT (PAT).

You can read about 1:1 NAT on this page ( corecom.com/external/livesecurity/1to1nat.htm )

You will find MonoWall and PFSense have 1:1 NAT straight out of the box, whereas IPCop and Smoothwall would require modding. With regards to hardware routers, you would need to check your documentation, and specifically check whether your DMZ runs 1:1 NAT or standard NAT (PAT)

By using 1:1 NAT, you would statically assign your server the same IP address as your routers external address. Then you would set pinhole port forwards to allow traffic through to your server on specified game ports.

This way, your server sitting on your local lan will have the same IP as your external router, and theoretically the Auth server should now work correctly :)

BTW: this is just in theory, i havent actually tested this, but it *should* work.

No I don't think he has the server file. He dumped all the commands directly from the client. So that depends on what commands are avialable on that client. And next time can you please quote something smaller? This is the waste of Ragezone board's DB and others B/W.

Much apperciated with the guides and help, if you dont have the time to write a full guide or whatever prehaps you could give us some pointers or hints on where to start for compiling script files. I've been trying to do it myself for awhile but i guess im too stupid to figure it out on my own.

BoTGoD , how to edit NPCscript.mcf to add item to sell in shop i think this file is correct and what file that you use to edit max level ?

hmm.need u guys help.my server are running yesterday..all server at RYL Server Management Tool are running in blue colour.but today when i open up my server again.the Auth Server are stop running.i tried many time to open it at 2005.03.03_TW_v542_Server but still cant..it flash then dissapear at taskbar.i didnt edit anything after yesterday i have make all server running.what problem im facing? could anyone explain for me?

need help i'm lost i got this problem my authserver stays yellow when i open the console it says there is no db agent server pls help thanks

After poking around abit it looks like they are compressed with zlib. So a small simple program to compress the files with zlib might work.

ok i have set all thing correctly login,auth,agent,uid,etc...but my problem is zone server can,t connet some 1 can tell me what u done wrong for my zone server?here is picture
