Kron1x Launcher Autoupdate/Filecheck

I didnt share this for credits or whatever...
But since you make such a big deal about it ill update my first post...

There is just a huge need for this and i dont like to see RYL2U use this on his own.

Huge need? i think ppl are just curios how do we made it working. But when u start talking from ingredients, how was it made, ur on ur own :P

Anyway.. why didnt u include the help document in the release?

I thought i removed it long time ago i just found it browsing my backup files :)
Put it in some folder i used to make my patches...

Oh and i know 100% exactly how it works
If your talking about the .new thing thats the LAUNCHER handling it not the updater...
Because the EXE and DLL and Login.dat is loaded and 'in use'

Anyway no need to have this discussion

Dont forget to restart the server or reload config...

Note.
VersionInfo.dat is automaticly created by the launcher (dont include it)
Dont include Login.dat or Loginres.dll (.new might work cant remember)
You dont have to upload Packages.csv, but i recommend you keep this file unless you want to remake the complete patch when you add another version to it...
This makes the Patcher 'continue' so you dont have to upload all versions again .. Just upload the new zip file created and PatchInfoV2
You HAVE to have .NET FrameWork installed wich can be downloaded here:

weird ... i tried tu make a patch using the patch creator, i followed what stealthy said, but when i run the exe it says no patch found ... damnit.

No, i mean, when i am trying to creat the patch... i created a random folder, inside i ahve your patch creator files, the .exe and the .dll, then i creat a folder with the name/version of my patch, i put all the files i want inside, when i try to run the patch creator exe, a dos windows comes out with a message:
"RYL patch creatot v2
Creating compresses patches
No patches founds
Press enter to exit."

That's it.

Now that's new o.O

Try name the folder '1700' without the quotes just to try

It worked now, using 1700 as name of the patch folder @@
