Simply set your Client's IP to your Server's Local Address:
In your host's computer, go to cmd (if Windows), type netsh interface ip show address "wi-fi" (or replace wi-fi to "ethernet" if using cable).
This will return your Local IP Address.
Now go to your Client's Login.dat and edit it to the IP you just got from netsh command.

Ps: In debian Linux, it should be ifconfig wlan0 or eth0, not sure about other distrs..

check your itemscript.txt & npcscript.mcf , make sure the item id is exist in itemscript.mcf if not you will get DC in game for sure.
