    Addition of Channels -- Glitched?

    EDIT: MODS: If this is not the correct section, please move it! Thank you

    Hey everyone!

    Thank you beforehand for any and all suggestions!!!

    I released my v55 Maplestory private server just a couple of days ago. I am coding for it and got the help I need for some of my commands through researching. There is one particular problem I can not understand:

    My server started out with 2 channels: Channel 1 and Channel 2

    RANDOMLY, channel 2 had disappeared COMPLETELY. I decided, hey, a server restart will fix that! To my dismay, it did not change anything -- channel 1 was the only channel running, and when I checked my BATCH files, there was no error; there was only the activation of channel 1.

    I know for a fact that all my settings are perfect (in channel.properties, MYSQL Channelconfig, MYSQL channel, and port forwarded 7575-7590). You know why I know this? Haa this is where it goes weird!! The reason I know everything is working, is because RANDOMLY when I would restart the server BATCH files, I would see that channel 2 was reactivated somehow, despite me having done NOTHING new -- I am sure of this because I performed routine restarts manually.

    I thought, hey, maybe the problem would fix if I restart it MORE THAN ONCE. Did so, but nothing happened.

    I added a couple more channels, edited MYSQL and properties, but STILL only channel 1 appeared. So I gave up for an entire 24 hours. NOW when I started my server, ALL 5 channels popped up out of no where, WITHOUT me changing anything else -- no computer restart, no changing in settings, only a random server restart through batch files.

    This is my channel.properties:

    Code:
    net.sf.odinms.world.host=localhost
    net.sf.odinms.channel.count=5
    net.sf.odinms.channel.0.key=release1
    net.sf.odinms.channel.1.key=release2
    net.sf.odinms.channel.2.key=release3
    net.sf.odinms.channel.3.key=release4
    net.sf.odinms.channel.4.key=release5
    This is my MYSQL Channel settings:

    My question to you pros: Whats going on?!

    My server is hosted by my laptop using my WAN IP, no hamachi!

    Lastly, I noticed that when the channels (other than ch1) do not appear, my fan speed gets MUCH higher and louder. But, when the channels actually do appear, its a normal rate. What is the correlation? The channels usually go up around 11PM-2AM EST, which is so much weirder!

    Thank you VERY much for reading -- I have another big question (regarding !event and @joinevent), but I'll save that for someone who is willing to help me further! THANKSSS

    What do you mean? Router encryption?

    What exactly are you referring to so that I may try out things? It's possible that you're right, but who am I to say!

    Port 8484 needs to be open, too. Also wrong section.

    Thanks

    However, I have already opened this port, in addition to the 7575-7580 , here is the link:

    The rest of the ports didn't fit in the screenshot, but they're there! What else could it be? Am I missing another port?? If so, why would the channels work only sometimes even if I didn't change any port forwarding settings?

    Thank you
