    Disabling potentials from mobs.

Is this possible ? Making a certain potential to not affect a certain mob ?
Say drop rate potentials not affecting mobs ? I tried searching on RaGEZONE & I saw some guidance on how to 'cap' it though it doesn't work but what I'm trying to do is to disable it totally from a certain mob.

    Any clue ?

Drops are server-sided, so there must be some point when your source checks if a char has a drop potential and then applies it to the drop rate. If you want to disable this for one mob, just find out where the item drop rate is added and follow that until you see where it's added to the drop rate of the individual mob. Then do a check to see if it is that certain mob, and if it is, do not add the drop rate.
How this has to be done all depends on the source you use, so it's hard to say what exactly you have to modify. I'd just start by searching for "drop" in your source.

For certain potentials...possibly. Altering the damage packet has never ended well for me, though I know others who have managed to modify it.

You'd first have to deduce where in the source these potentials are handled, and add an exception for certain monster ids.
