    Dragon Link

Hi, I'm having trouble getting kaiser to use dragon link. There doesnt seem to be a skill for it, so that kaiser barely works. I searched through all the skills but I can't find a ID for it, so i can't teach it to kaisers?

Can anyone explain to me how dragon link works? I really need it to make kaisers work properly.

Dragon link is the ''skill'' that allows you to use your kaiser attacks through key-combos. (LEFT+DOWN+CRTL for example)
It also allows you to fill up your morph gauge faster, by using these key-combo attacks. If I am right the attacks that are useable with this "skill" are the attacks that are displayed (with key combos) right below the morph gauge itself. I'm not sure (atm) how to explain this skill, because i am writing this reply right after coming from a party and i am quite drunk... I was able to google this tho, http://www.maplewiki.net/index.php?title=Dragon_Link it has some simple info on the skill and 'proves' it should exist. Or at least should have. It could also be that most servers dont use this at all. Still i hope anyone can provide something :p

This doesn't necessarily mean that's an actual skill. As far as I know, you have to write some certain data in the SetField packet if the character is a Zero. I suggest comparing your packet to the one on GMS and see if there are any obvious changes.

Well in any case i think the only way to solve it is indeed take a look at the packets from the source and GMS. Compare em and see if the source misses something or if something needs changing. I think it'll become clear when i sniff the packets from an kaiser character creation.

Yeah it is, bit i can't imagine you played it 'when it didn't have that' because it has allways been there, there even is a required quest for it that explains it in detail. This guy gets to the quest at around 28:00 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZdaOdhsI3No But he doesn't explain it and skips the npc boxes that do, so you might have to pause.

It does in fact act as a shortcut to other skills. The shortcuts (key-combo's) are displayed at the (usually) top right, right beneath the morph gauge.
Using these shortcuts will fill the morph gauge faster and restore x% of your XP.

The shortcuts have always been there, but when kaiser was first released to GMS it did not have that skill until a later revamp

    Ahh Makes sense :P.
Anyways I'll be sniffing the packets whenever i get time + acces to my friend's GMS acc. (don't have one myself, yay europe)
But I'm also working on something that is (or at least i think is) cool and has to do with the new cash shop format. Which also means i might actually be releasing something usefull to this community for once.

Thanks for all the replies! If you ask me this thread is finished for now, if i fix it i'll make a post for the fix.
