[HELP] Can't run game, runtime error

Ah well, no clue where to best post this problem, so let's just post it here.

I suddenly get this everytime i try to run maplestory.exe


I have no clue what is causing this, i've tried many "possible solutions' from registry edits to runtime components.

It started occuring on my w8.1 laptop after the last update, so i assumed that it was just because of the update.

But now it's also happening on my w7 pc. Game ran fine for weeks. Nothig was changed, nothing was updated. It just, stopped working.

Anyone ecountered this before and been able to fix it?

It's really getting in the way of progressing on the v144.3 source right now..

If you're working on v144.3, then why does your path include 'WIZET'?

Anyways, this is most likely an issue with the client's executable. We obviously can't help much because we didn't write the code of it. I suggest re-installing the game or switching the client's executable and maybe that'd do the trick.

I used a image from google, since I disabled error messages on this laptop. (which is stupid, better revert that asap) + A screenshot of mine would include the username on my pc. Not that it would matter much, but i like to keep private things private as much as possible.

I'll try switching executables, good idea.

Also, i found a hotfix for applications with this problem, made by microsoft. Shall try that too and post results here.

Microsoft's hotfixed had no effect. Trying switching executables now.

Yeah, just use a regular redirector insteand of legitlisa on w8+ and make sure no netsh is setup and you are running as admin on 7. (i was stupid lol)

LAST EDIT: THE PROBLEM WAS WITH MY LOCALHOST NVM LOL. MAYBE IT'S THAT GUYS; IF YOU'RE HAVING THIS ISSUE.
I'm just encountering this today but for Version 62 + 55 on my w8.

It says: abnormal program termination

Edit: Hold up, I think I found something.

Re-edit: Still no luck. I tried searching for my problem but no luck. Maybe it's Google time. Please could anyone inform as to what a regular redirector is?

It's only my localhost too. Maybe that's the problem. I'll post an update
