looking for someone to help me
Hey i'm looking for someone to help me test my server client so i can get maplestory server open for public play .. I think i have it working but can't test and don't want to open server in advertisements if nobody can connect ... the version is v.55 !
Edit : I don't know if this would tell me anything but can even connect to website?

1st comment: The IP you put on your "website" is your LAN IP. Not your WAN-IP, which we would need to be able to connect to you.Originally Posted by iCyanidex

Yes I realised it was my LAN ip , If I use my WAN IP then i just get a redirect to my router website, every computer connected on my network has the same WAN IP address, but different LAN IP addresses, the only address i can use that will connect to the server/website is my LAN or localhost..
Firewall/antivirus disabled or allowing incoming connections from ports?
Edit:
Port forwarded? (8484(login), 7575(+1 each extra channel), 8888(world) and 80(site)).
I think you hex edit the client IP (must be <=12 characters) to LANIP for host and NO-IP/WANIP for others?
Login/channel/DB = 127.0.0.1 and Host/interface/World = wanip?

Yup ^ I have done all of that, I installed microsoft loopback adapter and set it up now I am able to connect but un-sure if others can or not..

yeah it's online and I get a download from the channel port though if the client no-ip is over 12 chars it won't work.
