Max Stats Item: NPC V.83 Not Working!

Hey,

It says you need: 150 Cheese, 2 Tropy's, 1 White Scroll and such. But you can only get MSI if you have it, BUT the item's don't go away, the 150 cheese and trophy's stay in your inventory and you get the MSI.

That's because you don't actually have anything that removes items in your script. That's one of the most simplest things you can do in an NPC. Go learn how to script NPCs and then come back.

No, first of all i understand perfectly clear this is a help section...hence the "help" part. You asked for help he gave you a perfectly clear answer. You forgot to even script the part where the NPC takes away items thats basic shet. But, it's ok everyone herp derps in a while including me. The only difference between you and I, i don't demand someone to give me answers, I try to figure it out myself and then ask again. But, you had to go all ape shet and started calling him names and etc., acting like he offended you and expected him to spoon feed you. Bro, you gotta be out of your fking mind, if you don't even wanna bother learning how to script the basics of NPCS quit MS development.

If you actually bothered to even teach yourself how to script simple NPCs, you'd notice I stated you never actually have it remove items from the script. And assuming you don't even know about that method, I'm assuming you either grabbed this script from a previous server, or grabbed this script somewhere on the release section. I'm sorry if I offended you, but if you can't even look up how to remove an item from a player's inventory in a pre-created source, that makes me believe you haven't looked up any tutorials, or even attempted to learn how to fix it yourself. Yes I understand this IS a help section, but why should people bother to even help you if you can't even help yourself?

And if you've looked at a majority of my help threads I posted myself, I'd only go here as a last resort. NPC scripting, I had Xerixe, one of the ex-admins, teach me the basics and from there I taught everything myself. All the way from intermediate NPC scripting all the way to source coding, and even further to Android Development. If you don't even know how to use the simplest method like that, I suggest you just forget about owning your own server until you actually learn something.

I don't think highly of myself. I've been at this coding thing for about one and a half to nearly two years and I still consider myself a beginner.

And lastly, who the hell are you calling a little brat? I'm pretty sure I passed that age about four to six years ago. As a side note, I can fix/make this NPC script easily. I just chose not to because what would the point of that be? Chances are that if you can't even solve this, you'd be back here within minutes with some other issue. And ALL that? Are you kidding me? You're literally missing ONE method that a majority of the scripts released on this forum use.

And if you even have the slighting inkling to learn how to script your NPC, try this tutorial. Even to this day I still go back to this tutorial just as a reference. And before you try stating "it doesn't help me at all", yes. It does. Try looking.

He answered your question. You're lacking the script to remove the item from the inventory, thus your argument that he's not helping is invalid.

You're not being honest. You're being lazy. For someone who want to create and host a server, go learn basic npc scripting, instead of asking for help because if that's the attitude, I dont think anyone in this community will help you since the he already pointed out the error.

Simply put it, they are angry because you didnt even bother to check what went wrong before asking for help. I believe everybody in this community want to help someone who's willing to learn. The thing is, if you really want to create and host a server, the basic requirement is at least know how to script a npc.
