My friend said he played and keep getting laggy. any idea why?

if you really need basic help, i think you should read at least the first 50 pages in help and tutorial section. All of your qns have been answered before.

You can easily find how to code npcs and adding new command.

Regarding laggy, its all about the ping to your server host, or the server host specs is too low.

As stated above, read a tutorial or two. Your NPC scripts are found within your source, so just search an NPC ID or something and you can find where their stored super easily....

When it comes to coding NPC's, you need a limited understanding of how java works, but most guides will explain how to do it regardless.
